Bruce D, Old Course #17. Greens were running nice, good speed and pretty true. A few greens on the back 9 were quite inconsistent as far as speed went, but perfectly manageable. Had driver, 5 iron into #1 on the Old Course too but missed the green.

There is no OOB at NSW. Iron or Hybrid is definately the play and I wouldn't take driver off the 1st again unless it was a team event (like it was yesterday).

I'll take the ham if you don't want it Nice shooting. Played steady in the 4B today, steady eddy! Putting has gone south on the greens at Reddy (except 11) as they are still fairly slow. We had 41 pts I think, both playing poorly on the same holes.

Played a 4BBB stableford today. We finished with 43 points so average, I had 35 pts on my own (16/19) 4 GIR 3 up and downs 6/14 FIR 30 putts 7 pars 8 bogeys 3 doubles Not great but better than my last couple of rounds. Took me 3 holes to get the shoulder turn happening Doh

i played good match play golf today, 4 birds, like wed. i think i would have had 31 points wed, so a bit of an improvement.

Nice fairway hitting Neddy. Played Wembley (Old) today with Mayhem. Stroke comp 82/68 (CCR was 67) Course was there for the taking. Very benign conditions, course in good nick and a fair few tees were forward. After starting with 2 regulation pars I hooked my tee shot in the crap on #3 and from that point had to scrap a score out. Tee shots were very wayward. Thankfully the ...

Played at Waratah yesterday. Never played there before and found it a pretty easy track. Had my best round ever by seven shots. Had an even par 71! Still can't believe it. I play off 12 so you can imagine the buzz. Instead of stringing 6 or 7 good holes together I did it for 18. GIR-12/18 Missed one fairway. 3 up and downs. 1 sand save 31 putts. 2 bogeys 2 birdies 14 pars.

Don't downplay it too much, Ned. 73 nett when the average was close to 80 is pretty good scoring. Your nett score had you about 6th. And out of a field of 56 predominantly low single figure players, your gross score actually had you finishing mid field. Well done. What was the selection criteria for this event?

+6 v Par at Reddy today. 84/66 with 8 pars, 8 bogies and 2 doubles. 7 Fairways, 5 Greens. 32 Putts, no 3 putts but plenty of 2 putts that were very close. The greens are coming back but are still a bit slow and bumpy. Played really solidly, only 1 hook so that was good.

Played Kwinana with the boys in an OzGolf day today. Finished with 39 points, 15/24. Started poorly, and a few 5-6 footers on the front 9 saved me from throwing in the towel. A 38 off the bat around the back 9 made me glad I stuck with it. That, and taking simmsy's money. It is all worth it.

Played today in the Royal Canberra Junior Open (At Royal Canberra suprisingly enough) . I shot +5 (+6, -1) in a round that included 2 doubles, 4 birdies, 5 bogies and 7 pars. On the front 9 I was playing well but my driving was just "off" and I was spearing many of them.
