Zig, I have not hit the 600, but I have hit (and owned) the 500, 560 and 700. 560 and 700 are "similar". The 500 was completely different. Composite head for a start. The 500 is good, but hitting it again recently showed me that technology has greatly improved in the past 2-3 years (IMO of course). It felt dead, which is the composite head and I don't like that, and the forgiveness was much worse, when hit side by side,...

I have a mate who is a fanatic collector of all things associated with golf. His collection is amazing; I blame him for starting me on a similar path. Fortunately I ceased collecting a few years ago when I lost the bug and what I have kept are conversation pieces. These are pics of the Wilson blade heads and grip. Also a few persimmon woods that really need a run.

Titleist 710 irons
Published (2009-11-25 16:53:00)
whilst i didn't have a 690 to compare to, my feeling is that the 710 is a fraction bigger than the the 690. Slightly longer heel to toe and more pronounced perimeter weighting. The '6' series was always a touch smaller than the '7' series when they were running them parrallel. SFA in it though really.

let me know how that works out for you Virge...... in another 10years or so! I can see much frustration coming your way to get perfection. Unless you were able to source a robot swing machine, i think swing repetition is going to be the hardest thing. By the way if we are taking a poll on this - INSANE 1 BRILLIANT 0

I would have thought the more backspin generated by a cavity back would (somewhat) reduce sidespin. In saying that, most shovels have plenty of offset to counter any benefit for you there. So in summary...
