I didn't balance my stocks when I put them on while I was waiting for my new wheels to arrive. 225/45r17's with about 10k miles on them, and it rode like crap over 80mph. It would shimmy and follow the grooves in the road. I put on my new wheels with my older tires and about -2.5* of camber front, -3* rear, 18x9 with a stretched 215/40r18 front, and 18x10 with a stretched 245/35r18 rear, and they rode COMPLETELY different. They were...

Yep, and wheel alignment and proper balance will get rid of Road Crown, which is what you feel when the car follows the grooves in the road or on the highway. I run Ksports on my Corolla. I grip race it, absolutely love them. I have had a couple of problems with the RR strut coming apart, but Ksport promptly repaired it and sent it back with no problems. I was contemplating the KSports on my IS, but they are just a little too stiff for an everyday car.

I have the black but looked into these a bit before
I got mine. I was told they were a bit overly squish as far as ride. Not sure what you are looking for as info but I hope this helps!

Thanks for posting this up. I actually started this project this morning, and saw this post. I got the bushing kit from Top Speed Auto Accessories which I believe is made by Hardrace. Not sure if it's the same as the TRD, but they look very similar. I'm about to tackle the bushing removal/install portion, which IMO, is the only real difficult part. Most of the rest is just tedious nut/bolt/screw...

When you did the bolt method, did you use two bolts or one? If one, try it again with two.
*EDIT* I think you need to lift the entire rear end to work the parking brake adjustor.

i first had JIC SF-1's and was surprised at the quality of the coilover, it was easy to adjust and all. recently turned them in and received some FLT-TAR. the quality is still amazing. JIC's customer service is really good. i was personally talking to one guy the entire process of the rebuild. he even suggested me set-ups for my needs. turn around time is about average i mean this was around ...

3k in suspension and you can't raise it up ... ok. The cusco and megan front upper control arms are probably shorter than stock, hence why they can only give more negative camber. Since you obviously have the money, you shouldn't have a problem finding somebody who can modify the upper control arms with an adjustable mounting heim joint setup on the forward and aft mounts. This will allow you...

Do you mean this adjustment knob tool?
I believe all of HKS's coilovers (at least for the IS) use an adjustment tool for the damping adjustments.

What's a "good" static toe setting for the Front and the Rear that takes into consideration the changes in toe that a lowered (say 1.5 inches) IS300 goes thru it's usefull suspension travel? Looking for good turn in, without excess tire wear.
