Find the button on the remote with the same letters on it - press it once. Merry Christmas!

on your remote there should be a button labeled "MUTE" press that, or try just pressing volume up or down.

pull the radio, look at the back, connect two wires (solder/rig something) to L/R aux input. Search for rear deck diagram if you are not sure which two locations to connect the wires to. plug your MP3 player (any) and you are done!

I dont "know" per say. But I too am installing a set of amplified components, and I'll be running all new wiring. with all the $$ I've put into this beast, I don't want the thickness/purity of the speaker wire to be its downfall.

bad ground. some units require "engine noise filter" to eliminate buzzing through speakers. Can pick one up @ most audio stores. Can't remember if it connects to power or ground lead, but will eliminate engine noise. I'd go over wiring to make sure all connections are good and solid and you haven't missed any grounding points.

I have had the refrence components which is infinitys lowest line and I was really happy with them. I got them used and had them for a year before they were stolen. The kappas should just be better.

u will need to get a crossover in there, otherwise the tweeter will blow. Crossover the tweeter and front speaker. I dont know what the freq cutoff are for them, but someone on here might know.
