Some of you might recall this very same issue happenend with Apple imposing a cap of SATA 150 speeds when the NVIDIA chipset in the Macbooks supported
SATA 300. The Apple customers rightfully made a huge stink about the matter and sure enough, a firmware fix was provided that unlocked the speed. Why can't Lenovo do the very same thing?

I just had the same problem with my battery for
Lenovo X61. It just died all of a sudden without warning. It is completely unusable, with not even 1 sec of usuable charge. The last time I used it, it lasted about 4 hours. try to switch off the Thinkvantage hdd active protection and see whether that problem goes away, in addition make sure the power plan you are on is max performance and under
power management, don't allow your hdd to go into standby or shutdown.

No there isn't. System controls the RAM
allocation, not the user.

I don't know if this is simialar. But I have recently installed
windows 7 enterprise on my x301nd can't seem to find bluetooth anymore. There is no adapter in device manager for it. Nothing in device manager that needs drivers. I have tried installing the bluetooth software from the support website, but that didn't work. I read one other post here in the forums where someone had a similar ...

Welcome to the forum! If your machine has warranty remaining, you should send it in and not replace the fan yourself. If it doesn't, you will be replacing the entire heatsink. Hope this helps.

I forgot to add, this BIOS version 2.21 that came out on 11/4, and I downloaded it on the 6th. Can there be a problem with the BIOS version?
