Yes - I've experienced quality issues.  Three weeks ago, I received a T400.   1. The keyboard exhibited a flex (i.e., bounce, deflection, etc.) on the left side near the "QWER" keys, and the "S" had an audible "click." 2. There is a "bump" in the bezel above the three volume control buttons. 3. The product labels (e.g., product info, FCC IDs, Windows cert, etc.) affixed to the bottom cover ...

I suggest the folks who have Lenovo Power Management installed remove it.  Since I did - no unexpected shutdowns.   From my earlier post: Remove the Lenovo Power Management application I do have "Thinkpad Power Management Driver v1.53" installed   Does this help?   Chris.

OK I've been timing the beeps, and they appear to happen in 3 minute intervals.

Ordered: 10/22/09 Estimated Shipping: 11/9/09 (almost 3 weeks)   After calling in, New Estimated Shipping: 11/16/09   Is there anything that can be done? I can't believe it happened to me too. I need it soon.
