On 10/18/2009, I was ordering the U550 but I hesitated to continue because the est. Shipping Date 12/02/2009 just blew away. I did some researches online and some people said they had gotten it 2 week
after the order date which is pretty reasonable and realistic. On 10/21/2009, I called the Lenovo sales rep to see if they can get the laptop sooner than the est. date stated on its website. The ...

I think one is the infra-red controller and one may be the hot key for the energy app. You can download drivers from the
Lenovo site. Let me know if you get the audio driver there working -- it caused my Y430 to freeze.

device driver... try this driver for your desktop navigator: Windows7 64 bits (Desktop navigator) , Windows7 32 bits (Desktop nivigator) i also have y450 C2D P8700 running 64bits windows 7 ...

Hi, the problem with switchable graphics is annoying, especially because I use linux all the time. It seems like that there is a workaround for linux users: http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=7933876&pos tcount=11 It's a
linux kernel hack that switches off the dedicated (ATI) graphics. I haven't tested yet, but hope to do so soon, to see if the battery life will improve.
