Seems that British tennis star Andy Murray has been dumped by his girlfriend. Apparently she complained that he was spending upwards of seven hours a day playing on his PS/3. http://sports.yahoo.com/ten/blog/busted_racquet/post/Andy-Murray-gets-dumped-for-playing-too-many-vid?urn=ten,206655 Seven hours? Sheesh! He must really like that joystick.

Quote from: ninny on December 05, 2009, 08:17:23 PM I love Bones, I just recently started to watch it @3 months ago and think it is great. at first I was taken back by Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan attitude, but now I look forward to how she has changed, but still has that no all matter of fact attitude. I love the character Seeley Booth and how he interacts with her. I miss Zack Addy who played Eric Millegan. Yeah I like...

BTW, in case no one else thought about this, the two who played the daughters on the show Family in the 70s, are now both out of the closet-Meredith & Kristy McNickel. Cat Kristy was on "Family" you are thinking of Tina Yothers, the youngest daughter in the show.

I was wonder what fudge meant. I was just referring to a post the other day and I got a fudge right after you replied to my comment. In a way, it is sort of a karma. Feel free to fudge me in return.

Quote from: MrCleveland on September 07, 2009, 09:51:08 AM Okay, Labor Day is the unofficial end of Summer. To some...you get summer by the end of October or November, but to some the Summer ends. Like that song " Suddenly, Last Summer"...'One Summer never ends and one summer never begins'. Well...mine NEVER began and as a matter of fact, I didn't go to the big three things that I ...

I've wondered when the news outlets were going to go this way. After all, they are businesses and they need revenue to make money. I had always assumed that somehow the newspapers got some sort of financial cut from the stories posted on Google and Yahoo, but apparently (and inexplicably) they did not. (Or the $$$ was simply not enough to be viable). I can't complain about this shift...

I like the report that stated that his wife smashed his rear window with a golf club to help get him out of the Sclade. Yup, the rear window of an Escalade to get him out of the drivers seat. I guess she will be going by the nickname Tiger now.

Thanks for sharing! I agree about the late 2001 to late 2003 being a depressing time and fear-based. The late 2000's (2006-2009) were also pretty depressing, with the exception of the Wii and PS3, and Obama getting elected, mainly with the economy going in the toilet. I should have just said 2000, 2004, and 2005 were the only good years of the decade, with the exception of the Florida ...

Quote from: MaxwellSmart on February 17, 2009, 10:26:10 AM It's not the chimpanzee's fault. We cannot hold him to human standards of conduct. I would rather have seen veterinary experts tranquilize Travis and take custody of him than the cops coming along and killing him. True, but it's not like the cops just moseyed on by and said, "Hey look! A chimp! I think I'll target...

Here's how my decade went.... 2000-Great 2001-Great...until 9/11 2002-Okay, I got a real job. 2003-Better 2004-Okay, but should've been better. 2005-Better 2006-Worse, this was like the Sega CD. 2007-sheesh, this was like the Sega 32X since that was when my grandfather died and I couldn't find a job. 2008-Much Better...until the end of November. 2009-Worst...Year...Ever!
