Kill Switch

It would be best to know what ignition your engine has but there are similarities. By kill switch I am understanding you want an emergency cut off switch in case of driver overboard situations--like on Jet Skis. You need not cut anything. If your ignition is magneto or electronic, all you need to do is to connect the leads from the kill switch to the two "M" terminals. See: the kill switch is normally open, just like the...

Where does the kill switch fit in? Meaning what wires I need to cut for this to fit in and work?

i just listed a rebuilt system on ebay with starting bid of one penny and no reserve. If you have decided against buying a new aftermarket then this is probably the only other way to get a reliable system. I don't think anyone else rebuilds the original Force systems. I only have two sets of rams so first auction is winner's choice (1970-1987 or 1987-1994) and second auction is the leftover.

120 is good and the fact that both cylinders are the same is great. You need to remove the leg to change the water pump. Do you have a manual? You will need one.

I have a 1971 55hp Chrysler. The parts manual shows a switch with 6 terminals code letters M I M S C B. The ignition switch on my boat has 6 terminal with the letters M I M S A B. The only difference in the letters is the C on one and A on another. C being for choke. So is A on my ignition for choke then. Can I use the igniton thats on it now? Also with the 2 terminal with 1 on top n 1 in the ...

I just picked up a 40hp Force outboard with controls, ignition, tach, cables and harnesses. Problem is I do not know the year of the motor or the value. I did get a good price it has power T&T and seems to be clean. The Serial # is OEO 68370 . Thanks for anyones time on this. Anything I should know about this motor also would be appreciated, I am in the dark here. Thanks for anyones time on this.

I need help in selecting a new battery for my 1996 Capri Bayliner w/120hp Motor. The one I had was taken by a person that completed some shotty work on my boat and therefore I do not know what to replace it with. I talked to a couple of dealers and they recommended the Continental or Interstate marine deep charged batteries with 1000 cranking amps for about $85.00 (Since that is what the new ...

I bought a used boat with a '94 Force 120. Due to serious illness of the previous owner it was actually used very little - perhaps under 100 hours total and not at all in the past 5 years. The owner's son-in-law revived the boat and I bought it. He did say that the engine died while he was checking it out. He attributed that to old gas in the tank, so he cleaned the tanks out with massive ...
