Hey guys, i had a question about my clutch and/or tranny. When i put my car at a dead stop in nuetral and i push the clutch pedal all the way to the floor and put my car in first gear, my gear grinds. It's been doing that more often then before. Can anyone tell me what might be the problem.

So I took my car to get a saftey check yesterday.... When I got my car back from the shop. My reverse lockout was stuck in the up position. So I still had reverse but It was now a pointless trigger. It dosent seem like the cable is broken since the Lockout is open on the tranny its just stuck somewhere. I took it back to the shop and they are having a hard time figuring out what they did to my ...

The car: 2003 WRX completely stock Today I began the process of dropping my transmission so I can put my new clutch in. I ran into a very large problem though. ( I cannot get the transmission to slide off of the 2 alignment rods on the bottom). I have the axles disconnected, the downpipe completely off and everything else that is necessary for the transmission to move freely. I lowered ...

I will try to give as much information as possible so someone will hopefully have a good idea for what might be my issue. The car is an 03 wrx, stock minus a axle back bpm exhaust. The fluid levels seem to be within a good range and no smell from slipping. To start, last year around this same time my clutch started to slip but only in 3rd-5th gears while around 3000 rpm (about the time my ...

the car: 06 WRX about 43K miles on it, (I bought the car new) not a glitch beside this loud rattle when I let go of the gas in second gear, coming apparently from inside one of the passenger side doors. I opened both looking for something loose, and found the metal handle screw loose inside one of them, fixed that, put it all back together, but the rattle is still there. dismantled ...
