During installing update i-touch suddenly switched to a usb and music screen and has frozen. I- tunes does not reconise it now and I cannot access anything. Switching off then on the screen stays same. I cannot get it to work-HELP

Well thanks for the help. Unfortunately, it seems that even if I just do updates one at a time, I still get this problem. Occasionally, I'll just a simple "Unable to download from iTunes" (I can't remember the exact error, but it goes something like that), but that's the only error I get. It could be a problem with jailbroken iPhones only, but after a fair amount of searching, I've only found one other...

if u are having download problems then it is probably your isp firewall. to fix this the manual will tell u a number to type in the url and this brings isp settings up. u then turn the firewall off. it worked 4 me!

i have had my iPod touch now for about 4 months.. two weeks before the 2nd gen. came out, and my first one bricked within the first week.. i have the insurance on it, but i want to know that if my iPod bricks again, will i get the new one or will i get the 1st gen. again? thanks in advanced -Anthony

Like the title say. Everytime it only show as 94% charge. Am I doing anything wrong? I was at Jailbreak 2.1 when this happen and I thought it was Jailbreak problem. However, I restore and update to 2.2 and the problems remains?

Ok. I have alot of apps, most of them cost me money. I just updated my iPod to 2.2, and all my apps are gone, except the ones that weren't in the folders (categories) which I got by jail breaking my iPod. Now, when I try to sync it from iTunes, it doesn't sync it at all, because it probably think that the apps are still there. What do I do?

Okay, well ever since I upgraded to 2.2 (and jailbroke it) on my 16GB iPhone 3G, I haven't been able to properly install updates for apps on the iPhone itself. Today, after I updated MewSeek and SbSettings (not sure about the name. The BigBoss app: where you can slide your finger on the top bar and settings toggle appears), my Cydia doesn't load anymore. As I was trying to jailbreak, I accidentally mad a mistake, and ended up having to restore. I had made a backup before trying to jailbreak, so today I restored it from that backup. I'm glad this thread is here, saved me the hassle of making one. I've also noticed that it's not great at picking up wifi. I stand in the same room as my PS3, which is connected to my router, and the touch isn't picking up the network. Is there anything at all that can be done to improve it's connectivity?
