You could check out Kirikae. It keeps a list of opened apps, you can close the ones you want. You can have a favorites list. It's pretty useful. The only thing it doesn't do is that minimize thing And it's not an actual app, you can program a specific shortcut (double tap home, hold home, hold power button etc) to bring up the screen.

Jailbreaking is fully legal. It just violates the EULA and voids your warranty, which is not the same thing as being illegal. Some of the things you can do with jailbreaking, however, are illegal.

Just replace one of them and then listen to each tone.
One of them will be the noise.
I like having the original Tri-tone as TextFree's sound. Their 'Classic' tone doesn't sound like it.
I'm going to jailbreak my 3GS after a new firmware update comes out on the 25th.

I know that there have been a few posts about the legality of jail breaking, but I am still very confused as to what the actual law is. People who say it's illegal say this because "Apple says so," which is obviously not very good support. People who say it's legal simply say, "If you don't use cracked apps, you paid, it's yours, do what you want," which is common sense but doesn't ...

theres a little bar on the side, that when you touch and drag, allows you to move the app up and down on the list. You can put then in abc order that way.

Try QuickLock, it creates an icon on your springboard and you can use that to lock it/put it to sleep. And the 'slide the top of the screen' thing is SBSettings.

An exit button on each app (On the SpringBoard) would be possible, I don't know where they would minimize to. An extra button in-app would not be easy to use. Put it on the springboard on each icon.

I have an Ipod Touch 2G and iFunBox works absolutely perfect, but I jailbroke mine with Red Snow, I dont know if that has to do with anything but..
