Well now that you mention the speaker is a big selling point, the Touch is the way to go, hands down.

I just want the best bang for the buck. $75 is no big deal to me. Seems like you get a lot more capable full featured device for $75 more than the Nano. My iPod is 4 years old. If my son finds the Touch to complex, I'll get him a Nano, although just for playing music I fail to seem how the Nano is so much simpler, they are both easy to use Apple interfaces I assume. I'm considering selling my 2G Touch to get the Blackberry Storm. I tried one out and really liked it, but I feel like I would miss the app store and the superior browser, not to mention the iPod features in the music player. But I won't go to AT&T, and the appeal of an all-in-one device is just too strong for me.

OK. Found solution to this. Before connecting Ipod, put it in standby mode and don't turn car on or add a contact before you attach Ipod. So, If helps.......good

I have both Ipod touch 2G, and Blackberry Pearl. I love having internet always with the Pearl, but when browsing (with wifi) I use the Touch. I also access my email with the touch when I am at home with wifi. When away from home, I just use the Pearl for internet/email. But, the ipod touch works best for internet, and also music/videos etc.

i have a Touch and a WinMo device and I will say that for browsing purposes, the Touch is a bit better than the WinMo device given that the screen simply offers more real-estate and the pages load better. Now if they would let Flash load things would be better but thats not something that will deter me for too long. as for the Storm vs Touch, I want to try one out soon to see what the hype is all about and then make a decision on whether I...

Just recently (bought the ipod a while ago) My ipod touch 16gb/s headphone jack isnt working right. I have to wiggle the headphones (ive tried many different kind) around just to get sound to come out of both ears. Where can I buy a replacement headphone jack? Is it easy to install? Thanks.

Is there a software that anyone here has used that has done that? I downloaded the latest version of iTunes 8.02 unaware that it would reconfigure my settings for locating my music. I set up POP mail for a Gmail account. But, when sending emails says "invalid sender address" ?? huh? I have all fields correct, that I know of. Why is it giving me this error? When I configure same account for IMAP, sending email works fine.

Hey, so I have converted a movie to mp4. It looks fine on itunes coverflow. I got the dvd cover from google images and its resolution is 510 x 750. For my albums I usually have 500 x 500. DVD covers are supposed to look more slimmer and longer. When the movie is on my ipod touch, in the list the dvd cover has two black vertical boarders, how do I remove them so its a full image?. Anyone else notice since the 2.2 update the music is slightly louder and has more bass now. I know that the 2.0 update made it louder but now it seems to also have more bass. Maybe its just me.

Videos on my 2G touch suddenly started to play in the horizontal position only. I don't think the accelerometer is broken, because everything else works fine: it switches to cover flow and back for example. Also, the horizontal video is never upside down, and will do a 180 if necessary. But it will continue to play horizontally even when the ipod is in the vertical position. Any idea? ...
