I'm giving away an album this spring at the university i go to, and i was curious if anyone knew of an extremely reliable and fast PC/Mac-->iPod program that would allow me to plug in people's iPods (all types obviously) and quickly transfer 6-10 songs to avoid waiting times. I would prefer a Mac program but i have boot camp, so if windows is best, I'm good with that. Anyone had any good experiences with...

There's lots of good apps for this...but it seems like an insanely bad idea to use them. (As good as they are, someone's iPod will take a hit...and then suddenly you're "that guy who screwed up Amy's iPod.") Hello all, I am new to this forum, as I wanted to see if anyone has already dealt with what I am trying to do. I am a comp sci major, so I can manage fairly well with code, but I am a little out of my league on this one. If you read through this forum you will find HandBrake is the tool of choice for most to rip DVDs. Use iSquint for other video, the developer has discontinued development but it is still widely available. Both are free.

I have had my itouch about a week so I am a noob. I tried to put the ebooks I have on it . I tried converting them to various file types like pda, ret, text, etc.....using several programs I found on the net for converting them for ipod use. That didn't work. I kept seeing stuff about putting them in the notes section....but my ipod doesn's show up as a hardrive on my computer and I can't find where to look for it. SO! I saw the...

I'm a bit confused about jailbreaking/unlocking the iPhone as I could be with anything else. I have a T-Mobile phone with its own SIM card and its less than a month old. So if I get an unlocked iPhone (or unlock it myself) I can put the SIM card in the iPhone and my service won't change? It would just simply be T-Mobile service on my iPhone?
