I can get you scientific proof to back this up, I'm just in a hurry at the moment. I've never heard that going lower was any more stressful on the back, but drop the weight a bit to make sure. My father had lower back problems. I put him on a squat routine that included going well...

best lifts for glutes Hi, I'm trying to build strenght and power in my glutes, I'm not a BB just a triathlete, but I guessed this is a better place for this question than the endurance board... what are the best lifts to buid strength and power in the glutes? I prefer multijoint lifts such as squats over isolated ones... omm

excellent link ...at least I think so. I might be one of the endurance guys, but love my iron 2. In this case iron w/ rubber coating. Most of us should know this BUT there are great mpeg clips w/ lift demos; not a stupid picture w/ written steps. I don't know about you bros, but those don't work to well for me. http://www.performancemenu.com/

To wear a belt or not ? Do you guys wear a belt when lifting? Does it really help? I have a buddy of mine that told me I didn't need to wear it for back protection. I have never thought about or questioned it. I would be afraid to not wear it. Just wondering if he is right? I would think he is wrong. Hot Rocks

Need your thoughts oh great board members. legs are way to big and muscled from cycling for 20years. Yet my upper body is weak and getting fat, hardly any muscle, i can't even do 30 push ups anymore.. its beginning to look ridiculous. On top of all ...

Variations In The Bench Press Variations In The Bench Press Ive always wondered which bench press was the most effective for overall Pec development, incline, decline or the flat ? Also, which grip wide or narrow? Well! According to this write-up it is going to be the flat wide for me. Which is what Ive always done mostly except for some incline flies. Hot Rocks ...
