Obama vs. McCain! Yeah, I went there! Quote: WATERTOWN, South Dakota (CNN) -- Sen. Barack Obama slammed President Bush on Friday for launching "exactly the kind of appalling attack that's divided our country and that alienates us from the world." He also took a shot at Sen. John McCain for "embracing" the president's "attacks on Democrats," and "suggesting that I ...

Yesterday I read an updated article on this at work (don't have the link now, sorry) saying that parents are dropping off a lot of older kids now - some because they have uncontrollable teenagers, but other for economic reasons. One man dropped off 9 out of his 10 children, aged between 1 and 17, stating that their mother died and he couldn't handle it on his own anymore. The law will ...

Time for updates! So I read a collection of Bukowski short stories and I don't think I enjoyed a single minute of the reading experience. I can't decide if I'm too invested and integrated in the fabric of society (I believe in stuff!) OR if, as an actual outsider (raising the Homo flag high) I get frustrated by his gritty-glamorous characters posing as outsiders when they're ...

It's conspiracy theory time. Okie doke. So I got home today and checked my myspace. The Washington Times has contacted me for an interview about the World Bank/IMF protest this weekend. The exact message is: Quote: Chris, My name is ******* and I am a reporter for the Washington Times. I am doing a story about the IMF protests this weekend, and I know that you are ...

The only way I'd move to California for a job would be if it were at like, Google or something. Do you work at Google? Can I bring my dog?

It's tanking folks. Brace yourselves. My school is surplusing 14 teachers and 4 people in Guidance AND I'm getting a 20% pay cut. And gas is 4.59 (well, it was this morning) in my neighborhood.

I got a 19, which was dissapointing because I love color and I thought I'd do better. Most of my trouble was in the blue-to-green range, which is interesting. I nailed the reds and pinks, but all the greens were kinda eh. Thanks for this, it was fun! Though seriously, I need to turn my display back to half-lit because I think i burned my retinas.
