donwolfani, the original poster failed to realize the torrents were private torrents. He probably wasn't using a proxy. He may have been on ComCast, but conditions have changed for the better for most with respect to if/how ComCast throttles/disrupts BitTorrent traffic. I am on ComCast as well, and do not experience a BitTorrent block by them.

Port forward your router and modem, and set up exceptions in your firewall.

Honestly if you don't need the management tool of Nvidia (Forceware), you should remove it completely instead of trying to update it. It includes a buggy firewall and it's not really necessary. If you need info about your Nvidia card, you can use CPU-Z: http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php Very useful freeware to gather info on the main devices of your computer. If you're using PeerBlocker, then ipfilter.dat in µTorrent would be redundant -- assuming the blocked ranges listed in ipfilter.dat are also in the PeerBlocker blocklists.

I get test results in Kb/s. I ran 2 tests: flash: 1824/419 java:  1573/482 Today I get: flash: 2011/421 java: 2283/423 OK, I reinstalled uTorrent and configured it for upload of 384. Now the settings look like this: upload speed limit: 35 upload slots per torrent: 4 global connection max: 230 per torrent connection max: 1890 max active torrents: 80 max downloading torrents: 0 These were set by the upload selection of 384 in Speed...

I have now (except bt.connect_speed).  it hasn't disconnected but once today so perhaps some of these changes has it "behaving" better?!
