Google Desktop is a file indexer, remove it or configure it to exclude your torrent download folder and its subfolders.

I'm sorry, you misunderstood me because I wasn't clear enough. I only meant "eliminate" them as possible causes of your problem, not "remove from your system". In short, just list the non-Microsoft parts. Last edited by Switeck (Today 08:57:03)

It'll know where the files are -- the .torrent file information is stored in resume.dat.

I'm having countless problems with Windows7, x64, Home Premium. Random crashes, (this is the only application so far with this issue), self re-installation constantly, and no access to settings.dat file even though I am the administrator and have tried /takeown command. I have un-installed and done fresh installation, and moved settings.dat file to same folder as .exe and still am having issues.

I am using the 32 bit version. Seems to be happening on audio, video, and rar files so far. I have tried excluding the downloads folder from the indexing control panel. I'll have to wait a while to see if it happens again.

i have the same issue. are you saving the files to a network share like a NAS? if i download the file to the C drive, it seems to do better. I imagine there is some issue with CIFS in Windows 7 that utorrent isnt happy with.

Report the bug with Vuze devs, as this one seems to be a clear violation of BEncoding specs. Integers are supposed to be integers base-10, not some number in scientific notation (which contain non-integer characters). If they want to store that kind of data, they'll need to store it as a binary key instead of an integer. Weird that BEncode Editor even opens the file correctly (though ...

Do you want me to uninstall the logitech device? or just remove it from uTorrent? If it's just to remove, can you tell me how to remove it from uTorrent? And I am running on a wireless D-Link. Oh by the way, I tried the enabling the .ut! incomplete thing but again, no luck. - Thanks for help. Last edited by Crimson101 (Yesterday 17:24:20)

I have read about two dozen posts and am not seeing the answer I am looking for. Many posts seemed to suggest it had been suggested as a feature request. Others suggeested BE-encoder but I counld find the walk through on how to accomplish this... Could it be added the FAQs... not the one by one solution, but the batch relocation solution. I have always used uTorrent. I have filled up the OS ...

After i close uTorrent it keeps sending small packets of data even though it's not in the running processes list. I know it's uTorrent because it's sending through the uTorrent port. Are you sure it's sending and not recieving?
