I think that " search bar" must be able to filter torrents too. Just like itunes but w/ *where to apply filter* option (name, files, tracker etc) and masks support. For example: List of torrents: sliders.s01.e01.hdtv.avi sliders.s01.e02.hdtv.avi sliders.s02.e01.hdtv.avi sliders.s02.e02.hdtv.avi sliders.s03.e01.hdtv.avi Filter: sliders.*.e02*.avi List after filter: sliders.s01.e02.hdtv.avi ...

Hi .... I have been thinking about adding feature "Add Peers" or "Import peers list" . It would be very helpful and nice. You may also consider a limit of peers added at once by this feature. Thanks and GooD LucK.

cFosSpeed? Doesnt help. It makes pakets be dropped, DL line graph is teared up and down very nasty. Rather up than down. Please pay attention to http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=39090 Last edited by zlodeus (Yesterday 04:14:22)

Isn't there some way that utorrent can add new trackers or remove no longer existing trackers automatically from other users or servers?

I Agree, I move hundreds of torrents manually and then change download location manually to keep seeding.

I see you can run a program after a download completes. But you have to set that for each download. That gets tedious after downloading even a few files. Couldn't you put it in the default options to run a file after download completes. I download from news groups and in that application I can set Antivirus to run when a download completes.

Everyone, who is seeding/leeching, time-to-time encounters out-of-disk-space problems. Then I'd like to stop seeding torrents, which are performing worse and keep those, who are popular, to have good UL/DL ratio. Right now I'm looking at "Ratio" and "Uploaded" columns, but they represent total torrent stats - if torrent was popular first month, and then people stopped DL it - I cannont notice ...

I know this probably isnt a really important priority, BUT! I always find that I sit down at my computer, to surf the net or whaever, but my utorrent is running and sucking my bandwidth, so i pause it. I do my business etc, but then i forget to turn on my torrents again. when i come back two days later wanting to use the torrents i have downloaded, they arent done! what i would suggest is a ...

I think this one have been asked many times but i'll try to show my solution. When pressing the "delete" button on the toolbar we could have a menu like this: remove torrent from the list remove .torrent too remove .torrent and data ------------------------------- remember my choice with little boxes to check

Hey all, a small cosmetic request: If the end user could reorder the tabs on the "Detailed Info" part of utorrent. Maybe using drag & drop? I would like: General > Trackers > Files > Peers > Pieces instead of General > Trackers > Peers > Pieces > Files Thanks, TSR Last edited by TheShadowRunner (Today 19:25:21)

I think a useful feature will be Traffic Log for previous sessions. I couldn't find it if uTorrent already has it.

When i add a torrent i must choose the folder destination on my HD and then i can choose a label (if i use them) I think that would be nice if we could associate a folder to a label so when i add a new torrent i only have to choose the label. In case i want to download a torrent in another folder i still can change the older manually after choosing the label.

Let me first explain the situation I am in, and perhaps many will know and understand of this situation. Have you have shared a house with other people, be it friends or family, had multiple computers running uTorrent, and pondered at the best way to set these clients up? So, picture two computers connected to a LAN which is plugged directly into an ADSL2+ connection. Anyone who has ever had ...

Hi, Sometimes I pause the torrents in order to search for something in the browser or to use the bandwidth for something else, and after that I forget to resume. It would be nice to have an option for automatic resume of downloads... the best approach would be to monitor for bandwidth usage (don't know if it is possible inside uTorrent), but a timeout would work fine too (resume the torrents ...

Short and simple: when pre-allocate is set, and you tell Utorrent not to download files from a torrent (say, you only want one file from a 5GB torrent) - it still pre-allocates the other files. Its a waste of space, and shouldnt happen. If its relevant, i also use the feature that adds the .!ut to incomplete files. Edit: actually i just noticed this doesnt always happen. It may only happen ...

Once torrents have finished downloading, the '#' column doesn't seem to have anything to do. Instead of the current * mark, what about starting a second queue for uploads (A B C D E F etc?) in the same or an adjacent column so that a user can tell uTorrent what order he'd like his torrents to seed in? No guarantee network availability will cooperate, of course, but it'd be nice to be able to try...
