I met Grand Tuhon Gaje for the first time this weekend. During a brief conversation with him he mentioned that the Filipino Force Recon Marines were issued Ginuntings. (At least this is what I think I heard. He speaks quite softly and my hearing has been pretty compromised over the years.) Spec ops gear being what it is, if they are issued ginuntings can one assume that they have neither ...

Once I read this, I had to put this in here so people can really get a good idea about my ginuntings. This is a guy who bought one off me while i was in Texas. Read this: Hello Ron, I purchased a ginunting from you at the Dallas instructors camp two weeks ago and thought that I would write to let you know that it is a very sharp and effective blade. I recently went hunting and harvested ...

Hello everyone! This is my first post here though I've been reading through the forums quite a bit lately looking for info and I've been frustrated trying to find a place to train near by. I live in Fairfield, CA and it seems like there are very few places to train in the fma's let alone in pekiti tirsia specifically (which i'm deciding is the one that interests me the most). I don't really want...

Keep in mind that only a percentage of claims are legit in terms of approved program. In other words, many claim to teach LEO/Military but in essence are teaching a handful of martial arts entrhusiasts who happen to be in that profession. Others have taught on a seminar basis for divisions of the military but not as a whole. This is a common practice. Tuhon Gaje is one who has been able to ...

OK here's one for the PTK guys out there: What is your preferred everyday carry (EDC) tactical folder? This may be one that you already have or one that you wish you have. Any thoughts on Boker's Jim Wagner Reality-Based Blades (RBB) and/or the Benchmade Rukus? Note: I decided to put this thread here as opposed to General or Gear Talk to solicit ideas from the folks in this area.
