Totally agree (edit: with cnj4ever). There are a few weak link items that are likely to be or go bad quickly anyway used or new. Clutch, clutch master cylinder. Buy used and replace them immediately. If the tranny has issues you'd feel the bad synchros on a test drive. That really just leaves the remaining big ticket items ACD and rear diff. If they arent making noise its (likely) safe to assume they are OK? Sure there is a risk but...

35" here, and they fit awesome. I have a friend who is like 265 lbs, and he sits ON the seat bottom bolsters, not between them. Needless to say, we take his car when we have to ride in the same car, LOL. To the OP, aftermarket seats are your friend.

Funny how people keep thinking the Greddy SE is quiet. It's only quiet out of the box. After you break-in to it at least 500-1000 miles the exhaust has a very deep note and super smooth. All that factory stuffing that needs to burn out is what gives it a quiet sound when you first install it. Also with a test pipe the exhaust growls without the drone which is a bonus. i just found out one of the staples on my passenger seat came loose. i took it out, but the fabric doesn't look like it's "falling off" like you claimed...it still looks pretty tight.

Mitsu is not in a good period and is seriously thinking of selling a big part of Mitsubishi Motors (40-50%) to PSA group (Peugeot, Citroen, etc): if this will happen, I think it could be the end for the EVO

So I'm looking to buy my intercooler and pipes (both lower and upper).
I was wondering what are your guy's thoughts on both products. I have a chance to get the ARC Intercooler and pipes for around 2k, but then again, for less than that amount i can get the AMS intercooler and pipes.
I guess what im getting at is, would you get the AMS pipes and pocket the savings for other mods? or ...

A python alarm well not so much the alarm but where i got it installed took them around 10hrs when they said 3 i said i wanted my money back and they said that is fine but they were going to make me pay for the labor, and now i have a alarm that partially works. Well i know i test drove one, it was NOT impressive at all! the handling was really nice and it felt even more controllable then my 9, but the shifting and power was really bad. Also, the one i drove was at a mitsu dealer and it didnt turn over first try either. I thought that was unusual. Same thing with the cel, i was driving it and it felt like the clutch slipped but super gnarly ...
