Kumho Ecsta XS tires

Not a bad bang for the buck. Tested as Kumho usually does.... good mid pack performer for the $. Would be a decent tire to do some light track time with or aggressive street driving.

I installed the Hotchkis springs afew weeks ago on my 05 MR. For some reason, the rear isn't lowered all that much compared to the fronts. I know when I had them on my 03, the rear wasn't as high. Still, car handles great, no complaints

Tirerack and Discount Tire both have fairly cheap wheels that will fit the evo. I just picked up a set for winter. $135 each. They are 17x8's. Why do you want 7.5? I put 225/45's on them. I probably wouldn't go skinnier. I can definitely feel the difference in handling on the road for sure. I went with discount because they were more than $50 a wheel cheaper. Since I ordered I've noticed ...

What kind of track you you talking about here?
For road course and auto, wider is better. I'm running 17x9.5 +38 on 255 tires.

Rotas should be fine. There's even a vendor on here who tracks with them. Import tuner did an article about using these and they held up, but there were some who had indeed cracked a few.

235/40-18 if you wanna stay conservative, 255/35-18 as the limit. Have had others dropped that use the 255's with good luck. Of the tires listed above, the Hankooks have been a great bang for the buck. Decent life, great dry/wet traction, not really loud, etc. I'd follow it up with the DZ101. KDW2's are good dry/wet but wear quickly and are quite noisy.

I've been using bridgestone re960's as a daily driver tire. Nice ride, pretty decent stick, great in the wet. They seem to wear pretty well so far.

No they are not necessary if someone wants your wheels they will get them. I lost mine and I took them off with a 12 point and it did not mess it up at all. I went to the dealer and got 4 new lugs and they cost 34 dollars I think . Well good luck with this .

I've been running the Sumitomo HTR+
$88 a tire. Seems to Preform pretty well but I think I'm disappointed with the tread wear so far.
They did handle a few Snow Storms like a champ though.

They're a good solid coilover for DD and track days for fun. Very comfortable, but still firm. Some people say they are too soft, but the rates are quite good. They're just valved really well.
They are not time attack coilovers out of the box, although they could be custom specced to do so.
Any camber plate you use will need to be customized to work with their different then stock ...
