Idle weird and going away can be explained. At idle your car is running in open loop meaning it is not using the O2 sensors to tell the PCM how much fuel to give the engine. Instead the PCM just resorts to the last long fuel trim from when your car was started up. Because you had more air going to the engine and less fuel you were running lean causing the weird idol. When the oxygen sensors became hot enough and car ran in close loop the PCM...

Im interested in power increases under the curve vs all out peak power. if this shootout doesn't happen then I just may install my Headgames race head and Kelford 272 cams, dyno that combo and then install the Buschur IM and see how much power I gain over my ported stocker

My guess is that your turbo is fine but you might have a few boost leaks or maybe are in need of new spark plugs.

I know of a recent instance whereby a Cosworth EVO rod snapped in half unexpectedly, so I find no reason to consider those. Actually, I'm not sure that I would consider any very lightweight H-beam rod for a high hp application where someone is going to take it out and beat it to the ragged edge with >400+whp/L, but that's just me. If I had to choose between Cosworth and Carrillo, I definitely choose Carrillo. I know who makes...

Just like stated above no need for to lock the crank.
Depending on the valve spring compression tool you use i like to do all the exh side first and then tackle the int side after
Be sure to have a good magnet handy for the keepers and i alsolike to stuff rags down in the oil passages just in case.

Also, if you go to Mobil 1's website, they say the best oil for a car running E-85 is a diesel oil.

There is a lot of conflicting information and opinions on the regular ARP headstuds. Some say they are good for 700whp some say they are no better than the stock bolts. Do some reading and make your own determination.

English Racing tested the Magnus V5 and found it to make power, and have no negative effects on spoolup.
Buschur tested the Magnus V5, and found it to have a significantly negative impact on spoolup.
Buschur found the V5 and Driven Innovations made approximately the same peak hp gains, but the Driven Innovations had less losses down low.
Buschur produces their own intake which I ...

FP Black going on my Dyno Queen
Here are some pics of the Black and some of our small O2 housing and comp housing mods.
This turbo is not going to dump to atmosphere at the moment so I know that could hurt power just a bit.
Hoping for close to 700whp out of the car with out pushing the tune to crazy.
Should have it...
