You will have to open a dispute against them for non delivery. If the payment was by Paypal go thorough their resolution process. If not go through eBay's. They have to claim against
Royal Mail.

It's quite understandable that some buyers are now worried that some sellers being forced to offer free P&P will vent their displeasure on them, rather than on Ebay. Some have openly stated they will send stuff in the cheapest possible packing, sometimes without paying for postage - As if that in some way will reflect on ebay. Perhaps this buyer has already suffered from such practice and wants...

'today I got a bill from FedEx for £16 as appently they come from China.' Was this bill for
import duty, VAT and a handling charge. If so you will be required to pay this bill before you receive the item, if you do not require the item, I have been told that you should decline and not pay the bill. I'm sure some one else will confirm this. You may report the item to eBay for false item ...

Ask the buyer to ring their local sorting office in case it's there. He can get the number from Royal Mail Customer Services on 08457 740 740. Or you can do it for him.
Postmen don't always leave cards about non-delivery. If no luck Royal Mail wait 15 working days before they consider a parcel as lost. If possible ask the buyer to wait somewhere near that to see if it turns up. If it ...

If your receipt clearly shows the address in Poland and Airsure, I would ask the Post Office for a refund. If she wrote on Portugal, and that is all that shows, it won't be so easy - but it may be
worth taking parcel and receipt back into the same PO, preferably with the same clerk, and saying 'Remember me??'!

You're right, it's a scam! Don't worry, they don't leave neg feedback but if they did ebay would remove it. Here's how to report them to end the transaction quickly: http://members.

So as I say any advice please? In future avoid gettin "help" from Ebay perhaps? Go straight to
legal action against the seller, or only claim through Paypal. I have recently made a claim (wrong item sent) through Ebay's procedures and quite frankly it seems clunky and brusque. I wished I had just phoned the seller instead because there are no problems and it would have been friendlier.
