eBay US sites listing problem
Published (2009-11-28 08:38:00)
There is another thread complaining about slow upload times. May be extremely busy time for eBay servers. Have you compacted the database recently?

How to apply a single template...
Published (2009-11-28 03:27:00)
IMO You really cant . I think what you want to do is take one template and many sets of item data (parameter values) and send listings to ebay. Ebay templates are just listing models that you can copy and use as the basis to creater an item listing. IMO The best way might be to do a model of what you want, export it (like to a speadsheet) and copy the row and customize for each. Then import them back into TL. Can be automated if you know how...

Unable to Synchronize lot --
Published (2009-11-22 18:43:00)
Good Evening -- This week when I run Synchronize of my Stuff - It Says all Records are Synchronized -- but the Ones I just changed with the Changed item Icons are NOT Sync'd nor are items Sold - Removed and passed on to Ended Listings. My TL is way out of Sync. If I highlight them One at a Time and choose "sync THIS item" -- it seems to Work. Catching up this way would be too cumbersome right now. Anyone Else ?? I see no past...

Turbo Lister Design View
Published (2009-11-22 11:20:00)
Hi I am happy yours works. As I said in the post The design view was not working, I have since fixed it myself after finding the info the tech's gave me was in error. There are 2 .dll's that needed to be rgistered before description builder will function (one would think the install program would do this as there are no instructions about them). The tech's gave me the strings to register but come to find out they were coded...

Unfortunately when I checked the CD, the files were there but it did not back up the items. I guess I lost everything. I had over 5000 files in there anyway and it ran very slow. I'll just to have to start new. Thanks for trying to help!

HELP TL stopped responding
Published (2009-11-26 01:00:00)
Thanks for the ideas...I thought at first it may be the system and posted this here first to see if others were having problems. I also posted this later on the TL help board when I didn't get any replies here. I have tried everything you suggested and much, much more at this point (uninstall, reinstall, etc.) It did allow me to upload 4 listings (one at a time and with crashes in between) before the end of the day cut off. But there are...

Published (2009-11-25 08:28:00)
As both of you have realized I'm sure, I'm quite confused here. I was under the impression that it was 8.75% of the entire final value. But it's that much or $20, which ever is LOWER? . I was looking things up on new fees, and saw all this uproar from sellers complaining about the new fees. I don't understand the problem, this actually seems like a good deal for sellers. Could many people be confused the same way I was?...

Yes please!! Since I got a mac listing things on ebay has been long and slow and irritating. I have since turned elsewhere, for the most part, to easier methods of selling off stuff I dont want - they certainly lost alot of my auctions.

If you have the logo in html code you can add it to the default description text so it will be automatically added to each listing created with TL. Use Tools-> Options-> Auction Defaults-> Description Text

Items are dropped from the eBay online databases after 90 days so can't be relisted. If you have the original listings in your TL inventory you can edit and submit them again. They won't be eligible for relist credit.

The 5 free listings per month promotion was never for anything but the Sell You Item (SYI) form. I think this is probably what the lady you spoke to was trying to say. If you only do a few listings a month you probably should use the SYI form and get the 5 free listings. eBay fees are applied based on their fee structure no matter how you create and upload your listings. If you use ...

When you chose the restore option were you prompted for the location of the input file? Did you put the CD in the drive? Are you sure the backup files are on the CD? You may want to copy the files from the CD to its typical location: C:\..\Documents\Turbo Lister Backup and try the restore from there.

Some comments: 1) Borders and other special effects often cannot be copied as they require special formatting on the web (in HTM - those embedded funny special characters like stuff). 2) You need to copy and paste. If you are pasting in TL Design mode you are in character format. If you can, you might try saving a copy of the source in HTML mode (like microsoft WORD save as and file file ...

It might just be load on system today due to the 1/2 price sale - try again. I'd try tools> compact data base to see if fixes - worth a try as quicky. I got bunch or errors/warnings on olf auctions that i sent in today - you might also try doing full update of the TL tables as described at: Link but could run a while. If still no joy, IMO most probable from what you described, you ...

OK, I did it this month...next month maybe I'll figure out an easier way. While "sold" was open, I took a screenshot and pasted it into Paint. With that window on one side, I moved Turbo Lister to "waiting to upload" and manually compared and changed quantities. Stupid program. It wouldn't be such a pain, but in order to see "sold" I have to click past "listing activity" which takes...
