What part of "Same as last time" is hard for you to understand? Maybe it would help if you set up some templates.

EBAY SHOWING NO BUYER PROTECTION...
Published (2009-12-12 23:56:00)
Ebay does offer protection for payments through Paymate but shows it does not in the listing! I hope, since we have a technical issue forum that someone from Ebay read this. This needs to be fixed.

If you are using IE (Internet explorer) that might be the problem. There are some features on eBay that don't work with IE, for some people. Switch to another browser and see if your coupon shows up.

Photos not showing up in e-mails...
Published (2009-12-11 09:14:00)
You may have accidentally blocked the pics from displaying, especially easy to do if you're using Firefox. Start a search. When one of the X'd boxes shows, mouse over it and right-click. One of the selections (second from bottom??) will probably be to allow blocked images to display. Click that and you'll be good to go agin.

if you suspet a bidding bot id involved, report that person to ebay using an email, explain what you think is going on, and if ebay team does it's job correctly, Ebay do it's job? If you believe there's any chance of that happening......

Yes, I agree on what post #7 says. They either do not understand that, just because you put in a high bid, it does not mean that system will automatically bump up your bid to your highest bid amount, or they do no trust the system, and so they do only the minimal increase with each new bid. Time stamp for each new bid usually shows 20 to 40 seconds between bids. Sometimes they win item this way, sometimes they lose as their last leading...

dustr, Well after finding a direct way to report the problem to eBay I'm not seeing it happen anymore when I return to my search page. Not that I heard from them about it. It does seem better on my terminal. Is it working better for you? Chris

Nevermind. About 15 minutes ago, about 15 eBay messages popped up on my task bar and all of the icons appeared. Don't know how or why. Just glad it's working again.

I found a solution to the buyer requirements. I can do that for every item and future items in one blow. But the international shipping thing still gets me.

An ongoing problem that eBay refuses to take responsibility for. Check out the many, many posts in the link below, going back to 2003. You'd think that after 6 years they'd be able to figure out what's wrong, but it just keeps getting worse. Click "Link" and add your comments: Link

While I am not saying that such practices are going on, the solution is quite simple to the losing bidder. If you are outbid, just do not accept the SECOND CHANCE offer that is submitted by seller, if "winning bidder" does not come through for the seller. Unless seller is willing to go back to your highest bid, before the "winner" started putting in bids, tell seller to put item back in...

what cats are you searching in? Could be that there is actually only 1 page of items to show you which are "real items" & the other 4 pages ebays says are full of active listings are all "bogus" as with the shop.com crap from last year when they flooded the site with bogus listings & pages to nowhere just to make the numbers look good for the shareholders. You would probably get better...

I know that is a pain. Most of those thumbnail photos have a little " enlarge" link; I try to avoid them but occasionally forget. Seems they think some folks would like to see a larger image to see if they want to go to the auction. Go figure.

Nobody from eBay monitors these posts. Discussions of deleted posts are against board policy.

dustr, You're not alone. See my message over in the 'search' section. Not only that but eBay makes it virtually impossible to get through to them to tell them of the problem. ChrisB

I totally give the latest revamp of the site two thumbs down and two middle fingers waving in the faces of whom ever thought that these changes were warranted. I haven't sold or bought anything on eBay for nearly a year, yet I wasn't surprised upon logging in last week to find that it had been changed from my last log in. After spending over 2 hours posting a lousy 4 auction listings on...
