USPS said I used too much tape!

Do I need to quote the DMM? There is no need to quote that section of the DMM. I know it well. The DMM is objective.

Well, I only buy a couple of items per month. But....I have not noticed any big increases either in item price or in S&H, on the things I buy. Maybe it's just the product categories that interest me? Maybe the types of sellers I am buying from, are behaving differently from the Norm? The one thing that I have noticed, is a lack of many kinds of items that used to be here in abundance. Usually sold by small sellers. I have to go...

It says you can use tape to reinforce seams and you are not allowed to alter the package away from it's original design. Using tape to alter the design is not allowed. Maybe this idiot thought that was the case. False! You're not allowed to enlarge the flat rate envelopes or boxes. That is the only...

Well here in San Francisco.. the Post office does stop folks physically from sending out comic books media mail.. they ask what is in the package, and I have had them turned away.. What stops them from just putting them into the Big Blue Box? Now if they do that and the buyer gets shipped comics and pays for Priority Mail or First Class and gets it delivered Media Mail , then they have a recourse to ask for a refund.. Short of leaving Bad...

Some people come to eBay looking, not for "deals", but for things they can't find anywhere else.

IF they are the high bidder on both items, when you send an invoice, both items will be listed. Check the boxes for both items and click "Reset" (underneath where the total will be) . It will add both of your shipping charges together. Just change the amount in that field to whatever you want. I would suggest weighing both items in whatever packaging you will be using before doing this, or ...

comichunters, If you receive an unqualified media mail shipment, mark the item refused, drop it in the mail and file an item not received complaint. The seller will have to pay the postage again just to receive the returned item.

No, you have no recourse. Im dealing with that right now. Seller used cheap tape, and the box opened up, and parts missing out of the box. Why should I be at fault for seller not taping the box correctly? Seller thinks he can use the insurance to cover it. It aint happening, PO will deny the insurance since he didnt tape it correctly.

Well, technically you can ship it . But you would have to use either a freight service or a food delivery service, with a either a reefer truck, or a reefer container. (I'm referring to a type of freezer, not the herbal type). Not to mention the myriad of regulations that you would have to follow. USPS won't accept the package. I'm not sure about UPS. But if your food is not packaged ...

It has 2 bids. That's why you cannot revise it. The only thing you could do would be to cancel all bids, end the auction and then relist it with worldwide shipping and rates. End A Listing Early: Link Be sure to use the "Cancel all bids" option/button, if there are any bids, or you will have a winning bidder, then relist properly .

i have never tried ebay labels. anyway, the large FR box is aproblem all around. I dont usually use this size, but on those rare ocasions i print a PAYPAL label for regular flat rate then ADD STAMPS to cover the difference. never had a problem. i imagine you can dothe same with ebay labels.

I think all you have to do is mention the varnish in the listing as before and when you go to the P.O. to ship, you need to tell them about the liquid and there are ' flammable' stickers they can put on the package. But call your P.O. tomorrow before you relist.....just to be sure

I bought an item and recieved a DC # from the seller on the 15th of November. If I look up the tracking # on USPS It IS NOT Tracking, It is DC, Delivery Confirmation. It will update and show as delivered several hours to a day after you have the package in your hand.

From the seller's response he didn't seem to understand your question in the first place. I'd wait for the item to arrive. I'd again question why it was not sent first class as paid for. And then if not a reasonable response, leave appropriate feedback. Most of us would rather not have anything sent media mail unless there is significant savings.

USP is insured for 100.00 at no extra cost. Insurance It pays for lost items but all require the item be surendered to the shipper if it's broken. If a buyer contacts PP or eBay they tell them to return it to the seller which voids the insurance.

Are you trying to use a Delivery Confirmation number as tracking? When you get the package you can look for a post mark that would show when it was mailed.

Item numbers? Without seeing them, I'd guess that the items would have originally shipped individually by First Class Mail, but that combined, their weight bumps them up to Priority. Also possible, if they end up making the package larger than 12x12x12 when packed together, they may have hit the dimensional charges for USPS Priority or UPS. Combining items into one package does not ...
