Here's the link that says what money the seller can end up with. It doesn't pretend to be an exhaustive guide to rip-off techniques. Might just be a technical problem, but I am not seeing a link.

You have 7 days after auction ends before seller can even attempt to slap you with an NPB. Give it some time. You know how to get the contact information so you can make a phone call?

fuzzface50 wrote : No there isn't. It is and always was the sellers responsibility to get the package to the buyer in one piece. Some sellers use a "fruit jar or coffee can" and self insure. Meaning each time you mail a package you throw a determined amount in the jug. If there is a claim You pull it out of jug, if not you are that much more ahead. Other sellers will build the Insurance price into the starting bid. RE: Some...

Keep Yours, Call FedEx and explain the matter to them and let them know they need to get back out and pick the packages back up and get them to whom they belong to. They will come back and pick them up.

I come back to my main point: why can't UPS post the correct information and why are they not at fault. If I buy a car with a faulty engine, is it my fault for not being an expert mechanic and inspecting it? I don't think the principle 'buyer...

I really do not think we should be held responsible for what the carriers are doing .. Sellers are NOT held responsible for in-transit time; eBay makes this very clear. it should not be part of the buyers feedback on us .. It isn't. let them rate the carrier separately however they want. There is no provision for rating a carrier. ~~C~~

I've advertised priority and found I was able to ship first class. When I do that, I refund the buyer everything except the amount for exact first class postage. Notify the buyer of what I have done and to check paypal for their refund. Not one buyer has minded. They have been happy and left great FB and great DSR's

If he isn't delivering what he offered in the auction, he is non-performing. There MAY be a situation which would justify you doing your worst. Feedback is to tell other eBayers what they can expect, and a shipping swindle may be it. But don't jump to conclusions before you have sent that request for the shipping amount, with an attached message saying it is the promised combined shipping you are asking about. The panel for a message...

I know PP requires shipping within 7 days for seller protection. However, buyer can file within minutes I believe, of paying, if they so choose. Granted, a few too many of those, and PP may get upset.

When it comes to awful packaging, the taped up used pizza box with a blouse stuffed into a Ziplock bag (to protect it from the cheese that was on the inside of the box) remains my favorite. But I'm dating myself. My personal worst - one of my first purchases (1999) was an item sent inside a Duncan Hines cake mix box wrapped in supermarket bag paper for $5 "Priority" S&H that arrived ...

I stopped combine shipping because I could not afford to do so. I used to combine all of the time. If you have noticed paypal fees and ebay listing fees keep going up. You have to make a profit at the end of the day. So, I no longer combine shipping and if a seller has that policy, you have no right to complain about it. To put it simply, if you do not like it, do not buy from them. Also several ...

"our hidden camera..." "our story..." "We still had more questions..." "After I specifically went to the Inspector General..." Who is this "us" and "I" of which you write? Certainly not the person behind the rsmithdc2009 ID. When you copy a story from a source not your own you really should give proper credit.

The seller makes the discount pretty cut and dry: "I will combine postage for multiple items bought: $6.99 for first item, $2.00 for each additional item." Simply don't pay and keep contacting the seller by email, My Messages, and you might even try pulling his phone number and calling him. Eventually when he notices you haven't paid he'll reach out to you. I wouldn't have bought ...

Elennn.... Since it was so well packed. And since you purchased insurance----why didn't you ask the buyer to file an insurance claim? With the packing that you describe----I would think the P.O would find in your favor. However....apparently you already chose to go a different route? The buyer is sending the item back to you? Well, if you receive it back, and the ...

Gee. Guess you can't send an expensive item by USPS either cause your buyer will more than likely get hit with customs, duties, vats or taxes. And USPS doesn't mention that in their postage fees. Unfortunately, it is your fault for not knowing, and your responsibility to pay the surcharge to get your items to the buyers. Chalk it up to a lesson learned the hard way.

How long should I wait before filing a complaint with either eBay or PayPal for non-receipt of item? You have 45 days from the day you paid to open a claim. Most times I say wait 3 or 4 weeks to give the item plenty of time. Although Your Seller is already giving you the not his fault it's not here yet. and for that item i don't see tracking # receipt so as much as i hate the...

The money is being held by Paypal because the buyer opened a dispute. When Paypal requests, supply the delivery confirmation or tracking number that shows they were received. Paypal will then release your funds. Buyer can leave any color feedback he wants, however... so you have to decide if your buyer is lying or if his delivery got stolen by someone.
