Thanks for the encouragement Gulf, I'll be looking in to it. I hope to get one. It would be so convenient to have and my ds says I can get some sort of router that would allow me to have internet access from my desktop to the laptop.

And the Purina Cat Chow, "chow chow chow" dancing cat (as in cha cha cha, in case it was before your time). But I don't think he had a name that everyone knew. My oldest son thought his name was Chow Chow, so that's what he named his first cat. Wow, I just realized that was over 30 years ago.

Hi Maggy. I think that Pix is right. You are the rock now, and it sounds like your Dad is very fragile. Is there anyone that can help you? I know you haven't any siblings, but what about Aunts, Uncles,Cousins or even just friends? Do either you or your Dad have a Church family that can help? You need someone to help you with him so that you can heal too.

I had to share my christmas stocking with my GSD mix. When we got to the home where the stocking was waiting, my dog headed straight to the fireplace, extracted his new stuffy from the top of the stocking (on the floor) and paraded it around the house. Didn't give a snap for the Reeses Peanut Butter cups in the stocking, LOL.

I got an act of unkindness yesterday in the form of an unkind email from someone's posting id I dont recognize.. told me they hoped my wife died to teach me a lesson ( I'm a woman with ahusband..I keep saying that on the threads) and hoped I would never get a job for being an old, fat, abusive man ... With as much physical pain as I've been in for so many years, I've never considered suicide to be an option. In part, it's a spiritual thing with me. I think there's a reason we go through the things we do in life, that we have something to learn. Also, I wouldn't want to cause pain for those left behind. So no, speaking for myself, I don't think it's ever justified. Are you okay Pix?

with a loud crash, the locomotive derailed! People were thrown and tossed about the coach. Screams erupted as the coach tilted onto it's side and slid along the tracks. Fortunately, they had just gotten rolling and the crash was comparitively minor. The young man picked his way to the seat where the young woman had been sitting...
