Thanks MC, I see that!.. Also, I think I misunderstood the reference book. "From red to redddish purple" probably means from red purple (equal strength for each hue) to reddish purple (purple being the dominant hue). Elias

I have never heard of a color change amethyst myself. Yes, over time the color will fade out in sun light.

Buy a small scale on Ebay. The small cheap ones are not sold at Wallyworld because of drugs. You can look at auctions completed to find the spot. Do not send without delivery confirmation, there are people scanning these auctions, as we speak, looking for a fool who will mail gold to Canada first class.

I've learned not to buy anything from China. These people are ripoff artists.

You can sell your jewelry in lots, but first go thru and make sure there are no signed pieces, those can be quite valuable and you should sell those individually. Then you can sort the rest of the jewelry in piles for lots..say silver colored jewelry in one lot, gold colored in the other, those with stones in another, etc. As for the gold teeth, gold is at a premium, sell them for scrap.

I would not do that, you have no buyer protection at all if you do not get it or it is not what you think it is. There would be no way of proving that you paid for it. Smells like a scam to me.

But seriously, what did you expect that you were getting for $90? Not sure how many transactions, but tanzanite, diamonds, emeralds...plural. Good grief.

The c in the circle is a copyright mark, not sure on the other mark. A pic of the whole piece sometimes helps.

The pin is not a machine made piece either so I am beginning to think this bangle bracelet may be alot older than I initially imagined. Please, please, please....If you can offer me any info. or any guesses on this bracelet, please let me know. Sorry for the big pics but I am trying to offer as much clear ...

Do NOT use the postal service! Their employees are thieves. Small, valuable pieces always go missing. No idea about other shippers (UPS, etc).
