. I'm very glad to see almost 100% of the posters agreed that when a seller puts a statement in the positive given to a customer saying the customer is satisfied with the seller, very few buyers will see it. I hope those sellers who think that is the best way to get the message to other buyers will read the posts people have made in this thread. If those sellers read the posts in this thread, they will probably realize that giving a...

Avalanche..., Made... more or less covered the basics of your questions. There is more though. It is one thing to buy some items to build Feedback, more importantly is that your paypal account is verified. When you begin to sell it is a whole new ball game. When you are ready use this ID to sell on, then create another for buying only. The reason for this is, that if you are a buyer/seller on one ID, a seller with whom you have a bad...

oreobend--I also keep in mind, when leaving fb or rating the DSR rating for a seller whether or not this is something that I would consider bad enough to want the seller sanctioned or restricted from selling on eBay. Since eBay uses the DSR ratings to justify restricting sellers, from selling, even though some buyers ding their DSR ratings for things other than what they are for, I am not quick to give sellers bad ratings over minor or petty...

Sellers not leaving feedback

I want my lollipop! Janie's mommy gives her a lollipop every time Janie tinkles in the potty like she's supposed to. And Janie's daddy said that if I tinkled in the potty like I'm supposed to, that you might give me a lollipop, but you DIDN'T. You're a bad mommy, and I'm going to throw a fit and tell everyone in the neighborhood that you're a bad mommy, and make up stories so Child Protective Services...

Just leave 5-star ratings on one of them. BTW- I think it's really nice that you'd take the time to leave feedback for all those transactions. I'm sure the seller appreciates it...

Tell them the only offer they will get from you or PayPal or eBay still stand. A buyer with a SNAD is allowed to negotiate with the seller. There is nothing ext[h]ortionary (sic) about that.

I've read a similar threads in the past: Seller: I made an honest mistake and I got a NEG. Seller: Buyer made an honest mistake and I got a NEG. I know this is not helping, but just made me laugh at ebay once again.

Did you file a SNAD with Paypal? They most likely would have found in your favor despite the seller's "unco- operative" behavior. Reporting to T &S was useless, they won't do anything.

First thing is that you need to contact the seller with your concerns about the issue. Some sellers are more than willing to work with you to resolve an issue an a positive manner. If you are unwilling to return the item, that is on you, not the seller. Yes, eBay says return shipping cost is on the buyer, and sellers do not have to pay the return shipping cost. I, myself would if the item is...

I see, so anyone should be able to leave me feedback for any reason at all, whether they buy something or not? Maybe my pictures were too fuzzy, or my description too verbose, or they didn't like the font I chose, or the widget wasn't available in purple when they really, REALLY wanted purple . . . so they get to leave feedback even though no transaction has actually taken place? I think ...

Hi All, I personally have no problem with a seller quietly waiting to leave me a pos until after I have left them a pos. I understand this only because there are some scamming buyers out there, and I figure that sellers are just waiting to make sure I am not one of them. However, what I DO have a problem with is the seller who comes right states that they will leave a pos after I ...

warning signs? since buyer feedback is useless why do you need it? and it is very easy to tell if a seller leaves feedback! just look at you items won and you will see it. how can you have 89 transactions and not know this? you do not need a warning sign! and since it is voluntary why are you using the word required? many sellers will see your post and put you on there BBL! you know what that is...

In your seller feedback do you have more than one feedback from the same buyer within a 7 day period? If so, that feedack will only count as 1 feedback.

I agree, if one chooses to sell, they monitor their auctions. But occasionally, pay pal or eBay fails to send messages promptly too. I, myself usually give people the benefit of the doubt, and around holiday season, they often are busy. If the item was received as described, myself, I would leave positive fb, and if the shipping issue is cause for concern to you, rate the shipping star ...

Don't know how this got by us but yesterday it was 46 years ago that JFK was assassinated. Any memories? I was in 6th grade at the time. All of the teachers were called to the office. Our Math Teacher came back in tears, gave us the news and said the buses would pick us up early. We were told school would be canceled the next day. Normally that would have brought cheers from the class, ...

Since that particular jacket runs large to size, he may have looked like he was wearing his fathers coat at the prom. Keep asking Ebay to remove it. You never know. They seem to be starting to appreciate sellers again and you might get lucky.

Marr, You have 100% FB, and great DSRs. Asking for FB annoys some buyers, and could have a non positive result. A buyer who doesn't leave feedback does not hurt you. Keep doing what you are doing and you'll be fine.
