a little below the suspend setting,,, in the group of power settings the setting for awaken on is there and can be set for awake on lan, but states this is not supported in s3 or s5 i think that means dont set it for wake on lan and s3 or wake on lan and s5..... Yea could be or it just plain wouldn't work if it was set to one of the two. Or simply wouldn't accept that setting change? Regardless that doesn't mean it without fail...

I wonder if the BIOS is corrupt or if the memory which stores the BIOS user settings is corrupted? I assume resetting the BIOS and/or loading the defaults has been tried?

To clarify my previous reply: re my comment : Hi - usually no problem for Windows to select a supported mainboard driver after (revised hardware) installation and during first boot (in effect windows does this if a device is changed without first (un)installing the original driver)

As a songwriter myself i would say no. That is copyright infringement. You would not only be selling an Ipod but you would be re-selling songs you have no right to sell. What you do is up to you. Someone would have to prove that the infringement cost them money, and I doubt anyone would come after you for a few songs. 1000 songs on the otherhand they(music companies) could show a dollar loss and stick you good.

OP - I misunderstood a part of your post 13. I thought you meant you already had the audio separated from the video, as in you possibly recorded it using a separate recorder. When I re-read the post I think you mean the audio is still on the video that's going in two directions, is that right? If that's the case record the audio with a hand recorder (digital would be good). Just play the video and record the audio separately. That...

Yes you can use speakers, just plug in any set of "powered" speakers like a computer uses into that jack.

I'd try loading one of the BIOS defaults when you're in setup such as fail safe mode or optimal performance (whatever options it has, if any). Or try resetting the BIOS completely. Chances are you did reset it through the effect of changing the battery, but maybe try it again. I'd also try disconnecting all the IDE drives and see what happens. If it appears to be normal (complains about not ...

You'll probably receive a lot of replies praising the virtues of a program called CCleaner. It no doubt does the job but you can do all the necessary cleaning yourself and doesn't take long. If you navigate (with Explorer set to show hidden and system files) to "C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Local Settings\Temp", you'll have found the junk folder. Highlight all the files in it and delete...

Perhaps rather than re installing the OS you might try to do a repair install first. This is where you repair the system files an keep most if not all of your programs and data. Its a bit of work but well worth the effort. Link

It's more likely to be a problem with the version of Flash you have installed (or maybe JAVA) than to be because of your video card. Your MB has built-in video. To go for something better you'd add a PCI Express or APG video card to the motherboard. They're two different types of expansion slots video cards. PCI Express has replaced AGP but the one you'd go for depends on which one your ...
