What a difference a day makes! I got to bed a little early last night and today I'm feeling refreshed and ready to go. On top of that, the weather is warm and clear today so I was able to ride my motorcycle to work! A day just doesn't start any better then that on a December morning!

CJL, you must have been up early this morning again. I was up too early also at 3:30 am. For me, it makes a very long morning. I never know what my hair is going to look like either, especialy when I need a hair cut and perm. Today my dh goes for his check up with the colon doctor to see how he is doing. Hi, Pattie: I'm glad your son is doing so well after his surgery. It's always nice when the surgery is completed and the outlook is good. Hope your day is going well.

Nice new journal! I do like that mantra!
You have found a great accountability mechanism for your exercise, and your 25 days out of 30 goal sounds great. Do you need something to help you out more accountability-wise with food? I wrote all of my food down & gave it to the trainer for several weeks in July, which is what really got me kick-started again. Every little bit helps!

Monica, It was such a gift to come here and find your journal. I have missed you!!!
I sympathize with you being an only child. It has been so hard since my father died in May. I can't imagine what it would be like if I didn't have my sister and brother. My sister and I shed a tear on Thanksgiving because it was our first one as orphans. It is hard and makes me think about little ...

HI Patty & welcome to your journal
Oh I love reading people's food logs - gives me good ideas for myself
tag - is if you want to put in keywords so others can search for your journal with them, like low carb, low fat etc. I don't use them though

Hi, CJL:
Congratulations on starting a new journal. I keep thinking about doing that very same thing, but then I don't get it done. Maybe you will inspire me to start one.
At any rate, best of luck to you on your weight-loss journey. And I believe that it is a journey, a never-ending journey. Even those of us who have achieved a goal still struggle with our personal issues and continue ...
