Is the drawing area on your tablet in a wide-screen format? The tablet I use isn't, but my monitor is. I had a similar issue. I went to the settings and told it to "force proportions" on the tablet. An area with the same proportions as the monitor I'm using is now usable on my tablet. --

I just keep on drawing cause I love to draw whether it turns ouut crap or not. That's how I improve. But admittantly I do have a few downs sometimes but you learn from them eventually. --

Not really.. it doesn't have a wide enough moveable range for me. I found a gray-skinned plastic dummy that has a much wider
range of motion and looks more realistic, too, so I'll use him for situations with lots of foreshortening.

depends on what you have better of, if your scanner is higher quality use it, if your camera is higher quality use it, if they both suck then you will have to invest in a new one to make the quality better

If you want it to
fade away you can use a mask and then set a gradient on top of it so it fades.
