Dear MichaelCooper, 3650 M2 has nehalem processor which has built in memory controller and has a different requirement all together. You shall try nstalling memory on first available memory slots where there is no faulty DIMM slot. Rest shall be installed as pairing in DIMM slots of first processor that is recommended. Other wise if you need to populate full DIMM slots then go for new replacement. Good Luck.

Update 2. Ok, the drives aren't recognised in the other servers. So either the drives are DOA or the windows based RaidMan software has limited functionality with regard to the LSI 1030 controller. I'm going to enter the bios level config menu and see if things behave any differently. The IBM manual mentions that certain options on the LSI 1030 are only available either from the bios menu or by booting of a ISO with the raid...

Hello Frank, and thanks for your answer :) well, does ur intellistation 6221 work fine? with how many GBs of RAM? About my ram, my new ram are PC2700, and the original ram are PC2100. But, "sometimes" it recognize all the memories, and, they works fine if i put them in dimm3/4, but not in dimm1/2. Do u really think the intellistation can recognize just PC2100? :( where did u read it? This could be a problem... :( About BIOS, I have...

Memory Problems on an x236 server

Alexander, The server has the same problem what ever type of memory is in it. The problem seems to the same as another post by Rabih. I don't really think this is a RAM problem, something to do with the Server.

The slot has not worked since new. However reseating the RAM several times during troubleshooting caused part of the plastic retainer to snap off. Don’t think the warranty will be honoured.

Correction, the first, fourth and 5th lights turn on at the front. I tried putting my 2.8GHz processor in, and now that won't boot the server either. Any advice on a non booting server with my situation? Not very happy at the moment, thanks!
