Any opinions on this App? Just got a Mac Pro and
Pro Tools HD. Protool's recommends disabling Spotlight, and someone recommended Easy Find. Just curious what you folks think.

I have a friend who wants to replace an older
IMac G3 with something a little better. She has $500 maximum to spend. I am posting this because I have never purchased a used machine and have no experience with them. I think she is counting on me to help her. All I know to do is check ebay and that seems a bit scary to me to buy an unknown machine from a stranger. There is no one locally here ...

Are warranty replacement batteries less long lasting than the originals they replaced? I need a replacement for my replacement which lasted half as long as the original. Where can I get a new genuine Apple replacement for less than
list price of over $120? Are there new alternatives available that are as good or better .. and cheaper, too? Powerbook 12" G-4 notebook
