No, I'm not complaining about answering old questions! Personally, I don't see anything wrong about it. However, I was amazed with the fact that someone managed to find it and post an answer, that's all. I hope you'll participate more recent discussions, too.

The error message is pretty clear: you do have NULL values in DIM_2 Run the following statement to find the rows where DIM_2 is null Code: SELECT * FROM APOREQDETAIL WHERE DIM_2 IS NULL Remember that in Oracle an empty string (i.e. length zero) is considered NULL as well.

Here's some code you can follow. Using the PIPELINED function allows you to call the resultset from SQL (see the description block in the PACKAGE SPEC) Code: CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE SCHEMA.XXNNNN_PG AS -- *----------------------------------------------------------------- -- * CREATED Date: MM/DD/YYYY BY <your initials> -- * MODIFIED Date: MM/DD/YYYY BY <modifier initials> -- * VERSION #: ORA001. -- * -- *...

Gee, how did you manage to find that ancient thread, dating in 2003? Anyway: (multitable) INSERT ALL might also provide certain functionality (although the OP has probably solved that problem ages ago): Code: insert all into orc_value (field, fk_loss_hist, histtop) values (100215, 100000, 'Y') into orc_value (field, fk_loss_hist, histtop) values (100216, 100000, 'Y') into ...

You'll get better answers from delphi forum. Oracle RDBMS does not know or care about flavor of client connecting to it. After the Delphi code has an open connection into DB then you just issue SQL to DB

User which you have used to run the CREATE USER statement doesn't have required privileges, so it is unable to create a new user. How did you connect to the database? Which username did you use? Although SYS isn't the right choice, it IS a privileged user and will be able to create a new user.
