I'd absolutely take the above advice. Take whatever classes will get you closer to all of your goals, especially the core requirements like science and humanities shit, while you look into all of the programs on campus yourself and make the decision.

If the universe / multiverse is as big as we think it is, the chances of us being alone is WAY WAY WAY smaller than the chances of some other intelligent lifeforms are trolling out there..
