maybe you can lace them together and since it is the christmas season maybe you can shape them like a christmas tree, spray paint it green and hang it as a suncatcher?

I forgot about the tomato cage ones. We wrap garland and lights around them, and they go out with the lit reindeer in the front yard.

That might be doable. I started pulling some apart for someone else. If I still have more after this project, I will come back and let you know. I have no problems sharing or swapping items. Much rather you take them then send them to the dump!

We were just at a Whole Foods grocery store and they had rosemary "trees" for sale. Its a rosemary plant in the shape of a small 16 in. pine tree. I bought one and I love it. My dining room smells like rosemary. I'm going to dry the rosemary after xmas. The rosemary tree is part way down the page. http://www.pinerytree.com/Products.aspx

It's not really recycling, but if you want to make a small tree, and have lots of green beads, there are patterns available online to make seed beaded pine branches (if you scroll down, there's information on this website:  http://www.beadedgarden.com/patterns/index_flower.php ). I bet you could do something similar to Sewwhut's can Christmas tree with green mountain dew/sprite bottles (I live in a bottle...

I use the envelopes that come inside for mailing--just cross out the addresses--but don't use them if they have paid postage. We often get these coupons that come in packets that are only printed on one side. If they're 8 1/2 X 11, I use them as scrap paper for the printer. Smaller sizes I use for writing lists and notes. Any other junk mail that is blank on one side becomes scrap ...

Don't know what shape they are in but I guess since you replaced them not very good. How about putting new fabric on them and attaching them to the wall as a headboard or back to a bench. Put legs on them, strengthen the middle and make an ottoman out of them (foot stool type thing) Hope this helps.

browse through the forum on papercrafts, especially the recycled projects. Also, the jewelry making crowd sometime has great projects using pics or parts of pages. You could still make book purses if you made a (book)cover for them---very retro!: think about middle school--reading the latest "naughty" book with a paper cover you crafted yourself!!! Or graft on a cover from a "crotch ...
