I have a computer armoire. Its color is kinda like the color of the armoire in this picture. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_ id=2432290 It's a good armoire, but I just wanna change the color to pink. I don't wanna paint it pink. I just wanna glue something on it. Could someone help me out here, please? Saira

My brother-in-law is a farmer, and after they tore down an old family house/barn, they had a wonderful little supply of barn windows. I asked her if I could have one, and she gladly gave it to me. I want to use it as a photo frame in come capacity, but I'm scared to hang it. One of the panes is already broken (she found me the least broken of the bunch) and I'm scared that if I don't...

Hi, all . . . so I love our new apartment, BUT half of the walls are actual brick walls (possibly cause it's an older building, but they painted them boring white, so it doesn't look all cool like a downtown loft ). So . . . what is the best method for hanging big, framed maps and art? Is there a special brick/ masonry drill bit I need to get? Special picture hardware? I'm not ...

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do with coasters? I've done quite a bit of traveling and collected coasters from each country. They are all different shapes and sizes. I was trying to think of a way I could tastefully display them in my house. I would have loved to do a coffee table top under glass, but I don't need any more tables. Any ideas or pictures of what you have done ...

OK. So we just bought our first house. We don't have a lot of money to spend, so we've put that towards the necessary items like curtains and furniture. Anyway, there is this awful chandelier hanging in our living room/office space. We've already spent time and money on replacing some of the other light fixtures, but I'd like to use this one if possible. Has anyone ever customized one ...

I saw a lady once who had made tortilla holders out of terracotta pot dishes(the bottom dish that holds the water underneath the terrracotta pots). She painted them so pretty and you couldn't even smell the paint once it was dry. I am searching for directions on how to make them. Does anyone know how? What kind of paint would be good to use on this kind of project? Anyone's help ...

How can I make a desk organizer? For things like: --papers & folders --pens & pencils --tape & stapler --small notepad / post-it notes I don't have the tools to do woodworking... and I'm afraid that the stuff I'd make out of cardboard would a) fall apart and b) look like a 5-year old made it. What materials could I use? Suggestions for designs? Have you seen this project completed...

Anyone got any ideas/links to tuts/whatever on this topic? I've got a big run of bookshelves round 2 walls of a room. I want to store other stuff in there than books - DH's random tat so it needs to be fairly robust and easy to sling it in, lifting a lid is just far too much like hard work! I want something very very simple I can sew and knock up dozens of the things in a hurry. ...

Maybe you've seen this idea before, but I just had to post. I'm certainly doing this very soon, before it gets too darn cold to be tromping in the woods. Will you be doing this along with me?? http://www.flickr.com/photos/10435614@N03/29102153 29/ Oh, and if anyone wants to give me an explanation of the posting pictures process, I'd love it. I really want to make this chair for the kids in my family for Christmas. http://www.mccallpattern.com/item/M9665.htm??tab=h ome_decorating&page=5 But the problem is that the pattern calls for some weird-sized pillow forms. I REALLY don't want to have to make the pillows myself. Has anyone ever made these chairs before? Does anyone know where I can find the right pillow forms? Thanks...

Hi, I'm an avid reader of Craftster but this is my first post! I just came across this wardrobe - http://2modern.com/designer/Iannone-Design/Iannone -Design-Graphic-Armoire - and love it! I have an extremely similar but plain white wardrobe and would really like to do something similar to this. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about how to achieve this effect? I don't ...
