wow dude!  you hand sewed those!!!! That is seriously impressive.  Good job.  I need to work on my hand sewing, I like my machine to much 

Sigh.  So I let it slip and so had to give it to him.  He has given it several wears and enjoyed the humor (and near-practicality) of it, but man, was I bummed that I gave it away.  WHICH I NEVER DO!  I'm generally harder to break than that chunk of melded hard candy at great-Auntie Edna's house.  I hope I'm not slipping.  Again with the sigh.

i like hand sewing alot better tho cuz i can lay in bed and be comfortable while doin it and not stuck behind a machine.  But thanks, those really did take HOURS but its all worth it.

Oh. My. Gosh. The top hat is so cool !  So is everything else, but I'm practically obsessed with top hats. haha

I love wide headbands - they're great for those days you just CBF doing your hair   

 

The Vogue pattern was for a larger, visible hem, so I did use my Bernina. Although, now I am curious about if I could use my blind hem attachment on my serger. I may have to try it out, now. I'll keep you posted.
