Quote from: athenaknits? on November 17, 2008 08:04:55 PM www.edibleestates.o rg AMAZING!! I'm going to pass it on to the rest of the crew! Thanks for the positive feedback y'all! It's been great all mucking in and doing the work, because its pretty much just getting dirty with our friends! The local council were looking for more 'youth groups' and there are about 20 of us ranging in age from 17 to...

What a lovely gift!  For those of us who garden and it's the winter season, this is a real treat.  And you are doing wonderful things.  Your garden is gorgeous.

I was a little unsure where to post this, only because once we harvest the proceeds will be going to charity, but since we're still in the growing stage, i thought here was the most appropriate board! Anyway, my bestie decided a while ago she wanted to create a community garden that grew veggies for charitable purposes, and i just get so excited by growing things, i couldn't help but ...

I love the way Hamsas look and the meaning behind them, so I made some! Started with plywood and cut the shape. One painted for my friend, Rebekah. One for my dad... Hanging above the door of his workshop. I have two more cut out. I have yet to decide how to paint them. Comments and criticism welcomed.

Made this last fall to deal with all our yard and garden waste: It's a pretty simple design. The front of each box has slots where you can drop in additional 1 x 8 boards, depending on the height of your compost. Makes it easier to turn the compost from one bin to the other and to rescue the finished product. My husband saw something similar online for about $200, plus ...

So I posted my in progress pictures in the ceramics thread but now that they are finished and will go outside I thought I would post them here. Plus the in progress pictures are pretty boring. My son broke two of my mother's prefab ugly mosaic tables on ask-a-dent as my son says. I replaced them with these. She has a water garden outside, thus Lily and Fish. Oh, she has 3 more ...

Alrighty! My husband had loaded these pictures but I just turned in my thesis two days ago and my head is still spinning! I just got my very first trick-or-treaters (something that was very pink, a doctor in scrubs, and the ultimate batgirl!) so I figure I should post my yard- ha! I made the wreath and the tombstone. Sorry they are blurry, but I was trying to show how awesome it looks ...

So when we were little my grandfather and all the men built my brother and i a treehouse at our family cottage. Alas, after 15 years of use, it had to come down last summer. ANd the trees just looked bare without it. So this summer my little cousin turned 3 years old and my husband and i decided it was time for a new treehouse for the little guy, because really, what cottage is ...

Just a reminder to remove all traces of fake halloween spider web you may have decorated with. Many birds will try to collect the leftovers next spring to use in nesting and many will get tangled up in it and die. Please forward to anyone you know who uses it. Thank you. (Unfortunately I sadly know about this first hand from about 8 years ago and now try to warn others every year.)...
