The pen holder was made in a spiral of sc the lining includes a little strip of felt in order for the pens to attach (if that makes sense?) The flower I got a pattern for off crochet pattern central, but I can't remember ...

I have a soft spot for badgers and when my son "stole" the toy one I'd had for ages, I decided to make one of my own. And here he is. I'm going to make sure that this one doesn't wander off (ahem) this time.

I've been meaning to make a donut pincushion for the longest time now, and yesterday I finally sat down and made one. I'm happy with how it turned out, and I intend to make more because the pattern was very easy and quick. I used yarn from my stash, with the donut being Red Heart Super Saver (an assumption based on the texture), and the frosting being I Love This Cotton from Hobby Lobby...

I'm currently in a granny square frenzy, making a comfort blankie for my friend , started a granny square hooded cardi and a capelet.. And then I had this idea for Granny square Mitts: once I decided on the design I actually crocheted them really quick, using 2 skeins of Noro silk garden in contrasting colors and my favorite 5 mm/ H hook. I'm really happy with how they turned ...
