No, problem! and just an update. For O2 at least there was an update to the firmware for the modem- mine is an E270, and that completely!!! solved the problem of the
Smoothwall continuously losing the connection to the modem, which was forcing me to do a reboot to get it re-detected. It is stable now, and constantly connected. I am fairly happy with it, but it seems awfully slow- would appreciate...

this sounds like they are using private RFC-1918 subnets addresses for their clients... my wireless provider is also doing this and so i have no way to provide my servers on that link unless i pay for a
public address and the prices wanted are just not worth the actual work they have to do to provide said public address(es)... sounds like maybe you are farkled in that "deal"... then again, ...
