I know it's not even out yet but I was wondering if there were plans to include playback of 1080p content at 24Hz with the new Boxee Box? Thanks, Jake

Hi there. I am new to BOXEE. I love it. I was wondering if it is possible to some how setup a server on my computer that would have all of my movies on it. I would like to somehow access this server and these movies in boxee from a completely different house. So like over the internet I guess. Is this possible? Is it practical? Can anyone lead me to find the answer to this question? Thanks for ...

I have a folder of music videos. The videos are all separate files. Is there a way to make Boxee play a specified folder of videos continuously without me having to play each one individually? I want all the videos in the folder to play continuously without any intervention by me. Like a jukebox. Is this possible?

I have cable at 7.5 mbps. Very few sites stream at true HD file size anyway. If you have a 1.5-3 mbps connection, you should be ok with larger file streaming. Hulu HD, Youtube HD, Vimeo HD, all push HD content at much lesser file sizes than true HD. I"ve had no issues viewing them on my machine.

So I have an account with media aggregator Mediafly, and I've been trying to feed my RSS feed from that into boxee as a feed, but for some reason it just doesn't work. When I try it just sits there saying "Fetching Feed...Just a Moment". Now the feed works fine, I've fed it into iTunes for instance. Anyway I'm wondering what might be the issue, or whther other mediafly users are using ...

Subtitles would be a nice addition. Presently, *.avi and *.mp4 files don't support subtitles. A new file type, with the abbreviation *.mkv does support subtitles, and a bunch of other cool stuff, but it has a lot of other problems, which include: 1) They're very large, with most movies at about 1GB. 2) Some older windows systems have trouble playing .MKV files. Hope that helps [edit] ...

Personally, I've got my Revo ordered at Newegg. I've read that some say that Hulu already plays well in a browser on Revo with latest flash, but of course not perfectly. The Flash 10.1 update for the Ion vid chip due out early 2010 is supposed to make the playback flawless on Windows. I'm willing to gamble on the release. Mac Mini-I've no experience and no interest in changing or adding ...

I have yet to figure this out. I see there's a button to download subtitles. Neat, but I need just that basics. A single button (that can be mapped to a remote) to cycle through available subtitle tracks (be it an avi/srt, or a DVD or MKV with embedded subs). And of course one of the stages in the cycle should be SUBTITLES OFF. Same concept would apply for multiple audio tracks. Thanks ...

Hey, I'm new to Boxee and am pretty happy with it so far. One thing that's sort of driving me nuts is the library. I've got it set up and it sees my network drive where I store all my media files and it's pulling them in but very VERY slowly. I was wondering if there's a way to see the status of the import of the media? For example I've got three seasons of ...

I’m getting an old Compaq Presario 6000 from a friend and plan to make a dedicated boxee box out of it. I have a few questions if someone would be kind enough to share their experience and knowledge.
