Athlone has a fantastic range of restaurants that are all really good. Not bog standard cafes and chineses but really top quality restaurants! We are lucky alright.

Commuting to dublin from moate.

whereabouts in the city center?? if you are based in Moate then getting train just adds extra hassle to your commute, train "only" goes to Heuston if you need to get luas, then thats even more hassle BUT, employer may offer tax saver commuter scheme for rail.... investigate it yourself. bus maybe best, isnt there buslane all way from liffey valley to heuston station?? CIE is e59 for 10 journey (ie a week) when booked on-line....

bring back Radio West
Published (2009-11-12 01:37:00)
because bog 103 is brutal. (bad radio signal in work vehicle and its one of only two stations I can get). Even the reception is poor as it always was. Inspite of the fact many shows used come from Mullingar a trip to Loughnavalley or Whitehall would be far enough to lose the signal. Surely the midlands can do better. I remember signing the petition to save radio west on the counter in the Roma. I would of signed it till my hand fell off if I...

got my hair done there about 2 months ago by one of the sudents and was really happy with it. got an overall colour though, not highlights. it does take a little bit longer than usual though as their supervisor keeps an eye on them during the appointment so they do everything carefully. apart from that its same as any appointment, you can ask for whatever styles, colours you want

Drumaconn, The orchard, Woodville are in a nice spot on the ballymahon road about 1-2 miles from town centre. They're also close to good primary schools and the sports centre. Theres probably lots of houses to let out near monksland/bealnamulla, but thats a bit further out and just has lots and lots of housing estates. To be honest though its a fairly small town so unless its peak times ...

If you are talking about the one in Athlone, didn't know it was shut, but if it is good riddance!!!!
Customer service non existant
Prices too high as per all O'Briens
Small portions and don't ask for them to put on more topping/s (as the amount of ham or tuna etc they have put on wouldn't feed a mouse) they either charge you more or look at you as if you have 3 heads.
And if you try ...

Hi grmel,
In fairness I have to admit that I have never been in the club.
However I was out last night(in Danny's) and decided to head home early.
I passed by your place at approx 11.45 and there were 5 guys on the door at that stage.
All dressed in black,it looked like an SS convention.
Now my point is how does that entice people to go into a place like the L club.
Its ...
