Just continue using your card. Although credit card fraud is a concern, it's not like it happens to everyone, every day. Don't use your card on sites you don't know or don't trust. If there's any doubt, don't continue. Keep your virus scanner and firewall up to date, and have a good anti-spyware option too. Never respond to emails asking for card or personal details. Credit card use is protected against fraud....

FX commission 3v
Published (2009-11-13 19:42:00)
My latest order is reading despatched though 3v has it as incomplete transaction. Few cents left on it, don't know how because i bought up to the cent the balance that was left. Maybe there should be a 'strike' a week when no one buys a 3v voucher, due to 'the downturn in the economy'.....They might drop the €2.50 to reclaim €2.60 then

Nope you're not dreaming... it's your lucky day. They are shipping electronics here...and for free if you spend over €25. You just have to make sure that you're buying from Amazon themselves rather than one of their market place sellers .

Amazon and large items
Published (2009-11-05 19:36:00)
yeah, you have a point, never had an issue tho in having pc monitors shipped. Hope it works out. Their returns policy is top notch, if theres and issue, email them with the issue, they will then give you the return address. Bring the item to the post office, pay for return postage, get a postage receipt, send receipt(scan will do) and they will refund you item price and return postage fees.

A new eBay reporting annoyance
Published (2009-11-11 13:10:00)
Just checked this (HP DANIEL m220 FLASH MEMORY PEN DRIVE 64GB) again and I now see that 5 people are happy to buy one without googling for further information, reported it again, not sure why I bothered? My guess is that if you haven't bid then and report "You suspect that a listing is fraudulent (you didn't bid)" they take no notice of you. As some listings get pulled soon after being reported here I thought the HP...

For games and DVDs, the postage must be free if you use .co.uk, regardless of where the seller is located. I've got free P&P on items from time to time, from various locations and for various items. Not because of any rules, some sellers just do it that way.

Hi I bought a TV from them a few months back. Opted for the pick up in Blanchardstown. You have to wait for them to email you that it is ready for collection but overall the transaction went smooth. Not too sure on the name of the industrial estate but if you are heading up by the national aquatic centre and it is on ur right hand side keep going up that road and its the last turn on the left ...

Wouldn't worry about it. It will be in the RM depot waiting for the recipient to collect. For some countries (UK, CHINA. HK) whenever there was an attempted delivery it comes up as return to sender. Just a bug/error.

You can cancel and ask for a refund, but it could take a week to get the money back on the card. If it's expiring soon, this could be a problem for you.

It clearly stated $5.99 in the auction, so you shouldn't have been charged, and shouldn't have paid, $10. Now that you have paid though, you've accepted the charges as shown to you, so there's probably nothing you can do. You could question the seller on why there's a different postage at checkout.

You contact ebay, and let them deal on your behalf. Do not send money until he has agreed under the terms of the auction to send you the product.
