Hamilton favourite 11/4 Alonso 7/2 Schumi 5/1 What has hamilton as favourite? should really be schumacher in the Merc, the old champoinship winner brawn! and with schumi at the wheel, bookies will be loosing alot of mooloah next season! mine would be Alonso Schumacher/Hamilton actually its a toss up with the three of them Button n Massa 6/1 btw.

Decent F1 Journalists?

Top of the list has to be the guys at Pitpass - some of the best thought out and well informed commentary anywhere. Compared to Ed Gorman's scatter-gun approach to writing, it's a breath of journalistic loveliness. In fact, it's simply journalism. Mike Lawrence: http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpa...p?fes_aty_id=7 Keith Collantine over at F1 Fanatic also does a good line in background pieces. James Allen , doyen of...

title odds (silly season)

I would put any faith in these odds until we see the first race or at the very least some testing times. *Oh and as a sidenote I heard from a little birdie that the Manors GP car is a bit behind schedule and isnt up to much at the mo*

Going to Silverstone
Published (2009-12-28 02:39:00)
You can get by with a general admission ticket but you would want to scout out the track for your favourite spots on the friday / early saturday, and then be prepared to get set up at your favourite spot VERY early on the sunday morning, and the problem is that if you want to change spots later on, then be prepared to do some pushing in order to get to the front of the crowd, if you are going with general admission, i recommend getting one of...

Ive been to silverstone 3 times before, camping by the site is by far the best for accomodation, you can just walk to the track and dont have the insane amount of traffic to worry about, I stayed at a hotel before and it was a few hours spent in traffic before arriving at the track. As for the best locations on the track, getting a seat at stowe corner is highly recommended, and copse (the first ...

Heh, you'll come across a lot of the attitude you described in the first paragraph. Simple way to dispell that is to look at how those who convert to NASCAR do.
I absolutely love NASCAR, I'm trying to get cash together at the moment to go to Alabama for the Truck race on the 29th of October and the Sprint Cup race on the 1st of November in Talladega.

Every time I see news about a possible Schumacher come back I'm always wary about getting my hopes up, but this really makes me think there is a possibility of it happening. I wish they would announce whether or not its happening sooner rather than later

Yep, WRC is suffering with a lack of variety in terms of top cars and drivers, and Loeb's dominance is annoying - but also, his personality isn't lending itself to promoting the sport. Even in the reign of Schumi in F1, he at least gave the sport an icon to draw in the audience.
