Laughlinstown Has been done up. Sort of. They have moved the free weights section and its much roomier. The little hole where the racks and benches were is now a floor work area. The Pullup/dip station is gone. But the odd looking pullup bar thingy is still on the wall. A few more machines, but no new free weights stuff. Two of the C2's have been replaced with newer ones. Lot of the Gammy old cardio machines have been replaced. Utter...

So I've been going to the gym now a few weeks looking to build muscle and strength gains. Since I've never worked out before I decide to do full body workouts for the time being. I'm just wondering if anyone has any exercises or tips to suggest? My routine is below and it's in order from the top being the first exercise and bottom being last.
Here is my usual workout:

If you eat enough of the right food you will build muscle
The routine doesn't really make any sense to me, theres no structure to it
Do you use the same weights all the time?
There is also a serious lack of hamstring and lower back work

Good core stregthening exercises are deadlifts, squats and some variation of a standing overhead press. I change programs every 2 or 3 months. Mostly 3. And i don't think i've ever missed out on the above 3 exercises.
There are lots of 5x5 or 4x6 programs out there that primarily focus on building strength and do not leave much out of proportion. Just search in google and you will find lots. ...

I'm taking whey protein, creatine, fish oils, mulit-vitamin (Animal Pak), ZMA, Glucosmaine, Chondritin, BCAAs, H&B Udo's Oil equivalent.
so that's 9 for me too
