well considering that the crowd who broke it were successful last year in their pitch, maybe they know something others dont (that rte dont care?) I've already made my opinion of Marianna earlier. Its bad script pulls it down alot.

I kinda thought the pitch was so that RTE can see what our scripts would look like on screen.

Guess Filmbase would be a good enough port of call to start with. There are a few courses there and if you are a member you can rent equipment, also meet other filmmakers of different skills. With a budget of 400-500, filmbase would be a good idea if you have no equipment and want to rent, its 50 to join and then you can rent equipment such as cameras and sound and lights etc from them and the ...

hmm pretty nice. Quote: I'm just wondering if there are any apt film festivals/galleries in Ireland for submitting this format as most require 16mm guage minimum. If not its the usual HD etc, but I just prefer super 8 for a long list of reasons. there is a website dedicated to super 8 in ireland: http://www.super8ireland.com/super8-home.html...

Now there are obvious limitations on it due to its nature. It's a 48 hour film of course but I actually really liked it. Some of the acting is a bit ropey in parts but overall it works I think. I think 24hr/48hr projects are really beneficial to film makers as nothing concentrates the mind like a deadline. Good work.
