How many rounds have you put through it as the hopup rubber may need to set in if that is the case then put a couple thousand rounds through it and it should work

What the difference between gears
Published (2009-11-09 11:16:00)
Its like the difference between First, and 5th gear in a car. First gear, has a lot of power to start you moving... but doesnt really go so fast. In airsoft, this is High Torque, your gears can take a lot of strain of a high power spring.... Pointless in Ireland. 5th gear, is really high speed, but low torque... you dont need much power to increase speed, because the car is already moving... thus maintains momentum. In airsoft, this is High...

System 7?
Published (2009-11-10 06:52:00)
I don't fully know how it works, but seeing as no one else has stepped in to answer your question I'll give it my best shot. System 7 pistols have different internals which make them work better in colder weather then your standard GBB. So it probably would be better to get the System 7 for Irish weather.

Yeah thats about right., In most cases the wiring itself is perfectly capable for the job but the connectors offer too much resistance, hence why they get a bit warm under heavy use. Deans connectors have a large flat surface where they interlink whereas the normal ones are only little circular plugs that are usually very loosely joined together. You can make up a tamiya to Deans adapter ...

short answer.... you cant without a new unit. But you can apply some good old electrical tape around the hop unit to barrel joint (THINLY( and over that hole and it should be grand.... that points not under stress, so the tape should stop it twisting. ALternative ideas... nick a clip from another hop unit, or carve one from and apropriately sized pen,
