You can set it so when you open one of the front doors, it opens all the doors. This is very easy to do in Idrive - I don't know how you do it without but I imagine it is not difficult.

The sounds of it is really not that annoying. What annoys me is that if the temp goes over 38 again, it will rewarn you once you hit 37 again. I suppose arguments for safety can be made here to justify the additional reminder, but it seems kind of silly to me.

According to my iDrive manual, it mentions that you can enter the town/city, street and house number in one sentence, but mentions nothing about state/province.

Premium is a must. The Heated seats can be added as a stand alone option, but you do get the washer nozzles for the lights with the cold weather package. Xenon's, Yes! Power Seats and Bluetooth W/ Power Assist. That's my ideal car.
Most people say get the Sports package because of the seats, that depends on personal preference.

It sounds to me like you have "Traffic Maps" enabled. Hit the OPTIONS button, click on MAP SETTINGS, uncheck traffic maps.
You will still get traffic reports on the map now, it will just be in the form of icons rather than colored lines.

When I took our 328i in for it's first service we drove off in a 328i sedan. First thing I noticed (besides the automatic tranny) was that MPG gauge that just rocks back and forth. The sport seats are great and love them. Highly adjustable too. The loaner also had the leatherette. Didn't like the feel of that at all.
Always enjoy driving other BMW's.

Go for it! You know its what you want! Besides, you deserve it..
There are some instances when sacrificing practicality for the gain of pleasure is a needed and justified expense. Fortunately in my case, the 335 coupe was actually the practical choice for me.

'07 335i here. HPFP replaced at 8300mi under previous owner's supervision. I've personally only had the low-pressure fuel pump sending unit replaced at about 29,000mi. Current odo reading is 34,000mi.

WOW!! Yeah, BMW loves to advertise there $0 cost for 4 years but obviously there are limitations to say the least.

I think the new 5 is gorgeous. It's like a slightly larger 4 door coupe. I imagine they'll want a pretty penny for it as well.

If you're planning on starting a family, I'd avoid the E92 coupe on grounds of practicality. My choice would be a 6 cylinder diesel E90/E91 - a good compromise for you. Practical enough for a small family, good fuel economy & great drive.

I say E92 because it will look and feel nicer in the interior and is better looking overall (in my opinion).

Wow, $800+? I was able to get quoted cheaper, but eventually opted out completely of getting the alarm installed. If its a lease, why even bother?
